Any Association (MyGM) Players? Let's Share Thoughts

Hey fellow NBA2K'ers. I am primarily an association (now called MyGM) player, and I thought we should all share our thoughts:

- The simulation model seems a tad improved, but sometimes there is overkill on rebounding. Melo has grabbed 18+ boards on 3 separate occasions now 20 games into my first season.

- I cannot find a trade override option, and if it has been removed, I don't like this. Why not give us full control over our association experience? Ditto for player rating edits. Ditto for player roles affecting their morale.

- The new calendar is so cumbersome, and I would much prefer to be able to see the full month like in previous iterations.

- The face-to-face meetings are cool, but I can see it getting boring when you're in your fourth year.

- Being able to adjust rotation strategy per team is amazing, and I love it.

- I'm not yet sure how the 'Business' side of MyGM is going to play out, or owner goals. The relationship system between staff, players, press, and owner, seems pretty cool to begin with, but I'm fairly certain we're going to see unfair imbalances pop up because of it.

- Social media feature is pretty much useless.

Those are my initial first thoughts. Could others share their experiences?

PS: On an unrelated note, how do I see what kind of freelance offense my team runs, and on top of that, how can I initiate it?

MyLEAGUE is the mode you want to use if you'd like more control over the experience.

But with MyLeage, are you able to progress to the next year, draft, etc.?

Yes. 80 seasons worth of that, in fact.

Oh, wow. I had no idea. I thought MyLeague was just a basic single season.

So essentially the difference between MyGM and MyLeague is the GM minigame? (Business, relationships, etc.)

Basically. MyGM is more RPG-driven - kind of the GM equivalent of MyCAREER - while MyLEAGUE is more of a sandbox mode, similar to Association but far deeper.

Thank you so much for the clarificiation, Andrew. I will have to give MyLeague a go to compare it with MyGM. I don't mind the RPG GM minigame elements, but more control over the entire experience would definitely be preferable.

I like running games where the CPU control both sides as a fun alternate way to sim them, especially in the playoffs. However in 2k15 when I put both controllers to the middle (CPU) it won't let me start the game. SO SAD

Is there any solution?
