Can't enter "Team Name" on MyTeam mode -

Odd issue; can't type with keyboard. XBox controller started inputting nothing but y's even though I was trying to spell BoomBaby

Restart...

Now it just makes the clink clink noise. MyTeam = no worky for me; can't get by the team name. lol

KB didn't work while naming my player; however xbox controller did it easy enough.

I couldn't get this to work at all. I got nothing but n's. The keyboard was acting like a controller with "WASD" being up, left, down, and right, respectively. No matter what letter I selected with the controller, I got n's.

Same here, only I got all Y's. Also I tried to go to MyTeam and it said servers are down or something like that. It worked after the third time. Another thing is that I can't get my audio options to stay the same. They keep changing back to default. Not only that but the arena "Noise" seems to be tied to the "PA" volume. You would think it would be tied to "Crowd" instead.

I'm sorry to say that this game has quite a few bugs. Still haven't received my preorder bonus and the games hangs for a few seconds about every minute or two. I hope they get these issues fixed soon. I have a feeling the PC port was done by an outside team. A team not involved with the games actual development. Leftos?

Use the controller to enter the name as you would on a console. I just tried it and my Detroit Dominators are ready to go. I'm reaching out to see if keyboard input for text fields can be fixed.

I did use the controller. I will try to unplug the keyboard and see if that fixes the issue.

It still happens when you use the controller. Just all Y's. After restarting it still did it. But after another restart it worked. It might only happen if you try the keyboard first because the last time when I got it to work I didn't use the keyboard at all. Just a guess.

Yeah, I didn't use the keyboard in that boot of the game, so maybe that's a way to avoid it. The more info to track this down the better, thanks folks.

Keyboard does not work at all in NBA2K15. You have to do everything with the Gamepad

Yes! I got all "y"'s when I tried to type with the keyboard. I'm using an XBOX 360 Controller for Windows on Windows 8.1 Pro x64. WASD is active and it is messing with the keyboard like crazy. A hotfix for 360 pads and keyboards compatibility would be great! I had to click the letters with the mouse.

I believe I figured it out "Only one letter" problem Leftos. When I was in MyGM I was looking for a draft class to download and I went to the search and the keyboard screen came up. I used the controller to start choosing letters but only all 1's came up. Then I pressed left bumper and tried it and then only "!'s came up. I then realized that my mouse cursor(Invisible at the time) was hovering over the 1 key on the on-screen keyboard. I moved the mouse and it worked fine. I still couldn't get my keyboard to work, but when using your controller just make sure your mouse is out of the way.

I have the same issue, my keyboard doesn't work for anything. While trying to use controller I kept getting same letter... To fix I just tabbed in and out of the game and made sure mouse cursor was offscreen, then it started working again.

I think it might have been the invisible mouse cursor over a letter. I made sure my mouse was out of the way and it worked fine. Interesting issue if it's the case.

Leftos, is the keyboard supposed to work? Is it just a bug, or are was that ability just not coded in? Not sure if you can even say, but figured I'd ask.
