No headband editing in 2k15

Couple guys who managed to get the game early comfirmed that we won't be able to take headbands off of a real players like Melo or Lebron. We also won't be able to give it to the players that don't wear one. Big deal or not?

with all the customization confirmed, the tweet about setting assesiores for home and away

2k15 is all about customization and player freedom, this would go completly against everything we heard so far

I think I have lost a few IQ points reading this thread, I know a lot of people want to be able to customize headbands. But it's not going to break the game is it? If it's not in the game, I'm sure 2K had their reasons why they would/could not put it in. I think people are blowing this whole thing out of proportion just a little bit.

first i will doubt that people got final versions of the game 6 days before release... maybe its a early review copy or something like that.
the final version has gone gold 2 days ago.. its in pressing right now.. its impossible that someone has a final gold version of the game this early!

secondly this would be not the first time false info was put out by people just to troll or get attention..


this would make NO sense at all considering how the rest of the Game seems to allow us to edit everything we want

well why not disclose the reason?

i assume its a good one... it would be better for the mood of the community if we just knew why

It has to be due to hair physics. The hair movement would cause the hair to clip through the head band for players with longer hair.

Hopefully we will be able to mod 3D models early. Hopefully we are still using iff files compatible with RED MC. Then it would make sense to use the facial progression mod for headband/ non-head band models.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Or maybe something with the new sweat mechanics. There just has to be a really good reason for this not being in the game. Otherwise it would be in there.

There will be headbands in the game. The players who usually wear headbands will have headbands in the game.
