Talk about NBA 2K15 here.

NBA Live had that feature to use existing rookies for NBA, so why not NBA 2K have that same feature as NBA Live?

As far as I can recall, the only time NBA Live offered anything like that was in NBA Live 09 PS2's fairly limited Be a Pro.

We're in Gen 7 Now Bro.

As I said:
Andrew wrote:Gen 3 and Gen 4 are the terms Sean O'Brien has used to describe the last two console generations. But like I said, if all else fails, 360/PS3 and PS4/X1 are pretty unambiguous as to which generation you're referring to.

I assume the "Create a Legend" got dumped because of all the stuff they added into MyPlayer with endorsements, twitter, press conference, etc. It probably would have been more work to strip that out to allow it to work with existing players whereas when MyPlayer was more bare bones it was easy enough to slot any player into and maybe turn off a few things.

Also, I bet almost nobody played it.

I played it using Kwame.

I played with Andre Drummond at NBA 2K13.
Create-A-Legend was a satisfactory game mode, I felt disappointed when it was not included at NBA 2K14.

Knowing 2k, if it does return, they will hype it as it was a new returning feature like they always do

If it will be like Association -> MyLeague, then I'm fine with it.

Also means the return of NBA: Create a Legend mode.

Well, I'm surprised that 2K didn't yet confirm if NBA: Creating a Legend mode has returned and if you can use an existing NBA rookie for your NBA 2K15 MyPlayer account.
Wed Oct 01, 2014 9:36 am
The lack of a mention probably serves as confirmation at this juncture.

You had so much momentum with your petition, too. I am shocked.

The quote in my sig shows how awesome the Create a Legend mode was.

Looks like NBA: CAL (Any existing NBA player you want) and NBAMyCareer (Use an existing NBA Rookie, go through showcase and get to first round) didn't come in NBA 2K15.

Hopefully we get those two for NBA 2K16.

It's Time That We Get NBA: Creating A Legend (Should be known as MyLegend for PS4 and Xbox One) for NBA 2K16!
Fri Jan 09, 2015 2:02 am
Create A Legend, doesnt have endorsments that makes all the fun to play my career
I would love to play my career as young players with real signatures, tendencies, attributes, moves , reactions like Iverson, Vince Carter , Kobe Bryant at they rookie years.

We still need votes for this to be in NBA 2K16.

Another idea for NBA: Creating a Legend:
Not only can you play as original NBA Players, but you can recreate the historic careers for any historic NBA players (Warning: Overalls will be lower as a rookie. example: 90s overalls from 76-80 as a rookie, 80s, 66-75 as a rookie, 70s overalls as 58-65 as a rookie, 60s overalls as 46-57 as a rookie and 50s overalls as 43-45 as a rookie. Whole purpose is to create your current NBA Player as a legend/recreate those historic careers for any historic NBA player).
