saw that video of Heat New York yesterday and wow when gameplay and animations look smooth on YouTube, you can just imagine how its gonna feel in your hands, definitely smoother than 2K14..... buuuuuuuuuut I am still seeing way too much "Ice Skating" "locomotion" my ass, they just cannot seem to get rid of that floaty feeling of the players, it's rare that you actually feel your player is firmly planted to the ground on some sort of real physics based engine effect, instead they feel more like they're sliding or even floating from place to place almost all the time
:52 mark though, watch Dwayne Wade how he freakishly turns his body while running almost 180 degrees in another direction, it looks like they should have added another 20 or so frames for a realistic transition from facing one way to another.....
2K just cannot for the life of them nail realistic physical movement when the players are not in their animations, so for the majority of the game when the guys are running around and they're not going through the animation motions, they are doing shit like that, moving like aliens....
Once 2K nails these issues, I really feel like I will run out of things to complain about the game, as I don;t see any other issues aside from an old engine that can't handle physics properly
