First Transaction!!!

Now that we know more about how dynasty will works on live 05. this is my question?

the way the trading works is you send your proposal off to a team, and they might not answer back for a week, or they might answer the same day.

so tell me what team you will use (another thread i know) and what will be your first trade proposal will be?

okey i'l start i will definitely use Lakers and i will send a proposal to Portland to get damon stoudamire. in that i might trade atkins plsu either george or butler i guess. (and get another player in portland)

hmm i like where this thread is going, i hope it continues. anyway seeing as i cant shop a player all over the league anymore(you know if live had the tradeing block like madden this would be alot easier) i guess i will have to focus on tradeing ricky davis for a future first round pick. i might try to package him with another player or 2 and grab a young player + draft pick from someone. clearly i will have to go after a team with cap room.

of course i might send ricky and another player or 2 with multiple years left to a team for a draft pick and a high priced undertalented player with 1 year remaining. this might actually be my best bet.

now both of these depend on one thing, tradeing of draft picks is actually allowed any time dureing the season.

Just curious, if that trade goes down would you switch Garnett to Center, or Shareef to SF

Anyway, I would start with the Rockets. I'm not sure who I would trade but I would have to get a decent point guard, around the caliber of Derek Fisher or Damon Stoudemire. Besides Yao and T-Mac we don't have enough talent to trade for a "star" point guard.

KG would be center and Shareef at PF.

I'm using the Sixers and the only guy I can say I'll be trading for sure is Greg Bucker, I'm not looking for much from him though.

I'll prolly use the Clipps.
I'll try to go after some veterans to provide some leadership and experience to the team (via free agents). I'll also try to get a big man ... maybe someone like Jamal Magloire. I'll try to offer the Hornets Marko Jaric, Kerry Kittles, and a future second rounder for Magloire.

Yea I hope in the game you won't be able to do rapes, that way teams won't be getting stacked during the dynasty unless they do something like a fantasy draft.

I'll probably go with the Lakers, and my first thing would be to get rid of George! Too inconsistent! Must find replacement.

uhh yeah ... that's an all star from the east .. if he was in the west, believe me, he wouldn't be an all star last year. We'll see about that this year. On second thought, the West doesn't really have a good center other than Yao. Dammit! Ok fine, he's an all star. Damn ... then the Clipps really don't have anyone to offer.

He's one of the top 3-4 centers in the league easily.

If he is still on the team come november Mashburn will be the first shipped off. Right now I'd ship him for a firstrounder.

Next one is David Wesley ... also for draft picks if I cant get anything useful. Maybe to Minny for Ndudi Ebi (if he still is that good a shotblocker as he is in Live 04).

Yea, I agree. I'm looking to trade Greg Buckner for a box of Tasty Cakes.

i know EA added this tradeing system just for me. i used to trade damn near my entire team before i played a single game to either A. clear a load of cap room and play for the future or B.get some of the top rookies drafted that season.now that i have to send trade requests out and wait awhile for a reply i cant do this.

one thing though, i hope the game no longer auto sims til your next matchup. i play the 28 game(29 in 05) season so sometimes it sims almost an entire month. i would hate to lose a month worth of tradeing options just cause of the stupid auto sim.

That is a very good point, if it does sim heaps after each game, it would ruin all the new features.

Guess i'd just have to play 82 game season
