That's a pretty good melo. Why doesn't 2k14 look as detailed. I wonder if they used higher res models for 2k10

I don t know why, I guess it's 2K's laziness, seems like they will keep being lazy with next gen as well, not so much improvements from last year. Now they will use the same game engine for couple of years as they did with current gen, and we got to hope they won t screw things this time as they did with 2K13 and 2K14.

I've been tied up but I did figure out what's causing the shine in the uniforms. It's that black layer with the bright outline colors. I made the layer all black, then tested it out by reducing the black color, moving it closer to a dark gray color.

Rich, That jersey looks great! I would love to get back into this game because it runs very smooth on my laptop and the graphical quality is outstanding.

My two issues with this game is that the animations in this game compared to 2k14 are just so choppy and makes me upset when I know I could be playing 2k14 and the animations blend so well.
The other thing is modding this is just not as simple as it is with modding 2k14. We have so many tools and trainers for 2k14. 2k14 is truly the most moddable 2k game.

There has to be a way to use animations from other versions of nba2k. If we could use the graphics of this game and the animations and AI of 2k14 this game would be great for those who will not be able to get 2k15 right away (sadly me).

TG, I have free version of REDitor the same as you got, full costs 8$, that's ridiculous to pay for something like that, this forums policy is that nothing here can be sold, and this Vlad guy charges us for 8 bucks to edit rosters fully. No Thanks, I am good with tools we can get for free, at least we can edit graphical content.

About the animations, I think this is out of our league... we need more Tools for that and some knowledge about animations and how they work to convert them to older 2K games... personally I ve got used to 2K10 animations, It's enough to enjoy basketball game as long as it doesent look like crap.

I believe the extra shine is actually in the global lighting of the game. I have no idea how to adjust that.

impossible, how come other jerseys don t have that shine... it must be alpha layer or you should try removing layer mask or something
