I got it about a week ago and I'm loving it. Unfortunately no Ultimate Warrior :( but I got the game for 40 bucks instead of 60 and I'm gonna get all the DLC so it's like I got them for nothing. Hopefully they'll release Warrior as DLC too.

TBH I want KENTA and Prince Devitt as DLC for WWE 2k15. I'd pay for it dammit!

"2K Showcase" mode sounds a lot like the Legends of Wrestlemania game
you'll finally have a true, discreet career mode for your created wrestlers in MyCareer. This mode has been lifted from NBA 2K14 and adapted to the WWE environment.
This mode is PS4/X1 only
5x animation data of 2k14, k
4x lines of commentary

Neat video with Sting on that page, but :lame: no screenies or anything in-game

So a revamped road to wrestlemania is back pretty much? Hopefully this isn't all of the info for today given the fact that most people expected a career mode in this.

wrestling matches are not given duration and may well be very short very long. So the developers have made sure to introduce gameplay that makes unpredictable duration of the fighting. According to the editor, fatigue, offensive momentum or stamina will play all three roles in the outcome of a game.

To provide a highly realistic gameplay, it explains a concept of "ring psychology" (ie how to behave during a wrestling match to make it the most exciting possible) has been integrated into the game

He explained that the "giants," "brawlers," "grapplers," or "high flyers" will provide all sensations different game, which will give the game a diverse gameplay. According to him, the core game mechanics have been extensively modified and it will benefit WWE 2K15 but also for future titles in the series.

According to Chris Snyder, WWE 2K15 should have a number of similar to previous games in the series wrestlers though. Also according to him, the ratio between current Superstars, Legends and Divas should also be similar to what was done in the past years.

However 2K plans to unveil a playable version of the title for the festivities that surround the SummerSlam 2014 which will be held the weekend of 17 August in Los Angeles.

Bet the Hulkamania version is only available through EB Games again. Admittedly, the launch exclusive wrestlers are the only feature I'm interested in.

In addition to reliving these golden WWE memories, you'll finally have a true, discreet career mode for your created wrestlers in MyCareer. This mode has been lifted from NBA 2K14 and adapted to the WWE environment. While I didn't think the mode had the right synergy with the NBA, the WWE seems like a logical place to apply it. Imagine replacing all those cheese-ball, amateur hour characters and cutscenes with authentically voiced and mo-capped WWE Superstars. You get the picture.

Good stuff. That's exactly what I thought about MyCAREER in NBA 2K14 on PS4: too scripted for an NBA game, but great production values and perfect for WWE 2K.

It's been a little while since I played WWE 2K14, so I'd forgotten that Orton looked...well, that bad. Great improvements with the Gen 4 jump.

I didn't play WWE since the '13 I think (the one with CM Punk's cover). And there's finnally some improvement ! Well on next-gen apparently, I will definitely need to buy one X1
Maybe 2K like PC gamers enough to make the game on PC :facepalm2:

2K Showcase details announced

2K today announced details of 2K Showcase, the story-driven, single-player campaign in WWE 2K15, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise. Through high quality cinematics and historic WWE footage, players will intimately explore two notable WWE rivalries: the bitter rivalry between Triple H and Shawn Michaels from 2002 to 2004, as well as WWE 2K15 cover Superstar John Cena and CM Punk’s spirited rivalry spanning 2011 to 2013.

So basically, this year's version of Attitude Era/30 Years of Wrestlemania. Should be fun enough to play through, plus CM Punk confirmed.

The entrance looks OK, but when they put the camera back to the hard cam during the actual match, it looks so real.
