Is there any roster-only update?

I like things like the Ultimate Base Roster but its too big for me to download. Is there any update/mod that just has the rosters with the players already in the game? Like the current ones in NBA 2K14 and not including the new guys like Andrew Wiggins?

you can check 2Kshare in-game and see if there is anything. I dont know of any others right now (but I havent really looked)

Me and my brother share a copy of 2K14 but he doesn't want to share MyPlayer accounts so I'm stuck offline. Its all because his MyPlayer is based off of LBJ and mine is MJ.

not hard to have 2 My Profile.USR and rename one that isn't being used. either way you have a solution, beg your brother to download one for you, look in the releases forum, or figure out a way to download UBR.
