Great stuff. Feel free to upload that pack to the Resources section of the Downloads database too, in case it gets lost. (Y)

Good tutorial. I'm glad someone showed people how to do that UVmap technique.

Can we see some screenshots in-game?

Sure thing man and yeah i messed up and uploaded an older file of that 2km on the winrar file, reuploaded it and fixed the link, you can get the same io_n2km with my download now. Just a simple mistake.

This is how this created Kris Humphries looks in-game, i remade the white alpha and edited the headshape a bit more after the videos.

As long as they can follow along visually and pick up the shortcuts, are willing to play parts over and over again, they should be fine.

I liked the color match in Photoshop that you did. I couldn't use it very well, so I always would use hue /saturation and feathering.

What you could do on the normal map instead of just using emboss is blend in the cheeks from the original for some extra detail.

Yeah it is. It's also much easier since creating the compressed normal map that 2K uses can be confusing.

Anyways, hope to see some quality cyberfaces come out of the community thanks to your tutorial.

Hey Razor. Great tutorial and very useful. But i have a little problem. I was using Blender 2.49 with the old python scripts and i decided to switch to your version because i didn't know how to add an UV Map.

Back to the problem: i installed 2.67 version with your python script. I imported the model but when i want to add a texture it looks like this:
http://i.imgur.com/Gatkg7q.png?1

As you can see the texture doesn't load on the 3D model. Am i doing something wrong? Do i need to check some boxes? I tried loading both the .dds file and the .png file.

When you open up the blender, press A at first and delete the lamp+camera that stays at default startup then open up the n2km file ;) You can just save up the preferences as i shown up later on, so you won't need to delete those camera's,lamps after that.

Just wanted to share this, no point of me keeping this anymore, because i don't know if i'll even be patching next year.

The will to help out everyone is just better for me at this point, this technique will help out the people

Who want to get better at cf making in general and just help out the mod's like NCAA have better cf's quicker and better, so the later mods won't be unfinished.

And atleast give me a thanks for making this, always great to see people showing atleast some respect for the spent time.
I'm thankful to KingDareal, cause we were the first one's knowing about such thing, atleast from the old pes days. But yea i'm not going to keep this away from everyone anymore, i'm not getting any money from this anyways.

But yea i'll try to answer any questions from these 2 videos. If you don't undestand something, feel free to ask. I'll might add some video responses to those questions, it just depends if it's late at my place or not lol.

The cf making in general has gotten easier this past year for me, because of the new blender being compatible with the nba2k models.
I was listening to some music btw, i always do that when i'm making something, just saying, it makes you relaxed lol.
The video is in 2 parts.
First Part:
Main Knowledge from this:
Headshape editing, what i'm using, getting the real pic to load on blender, using it to get better results, UV Map
45 Minutes Long
.
phpBB [video]

Second Part:
Main Knowledge from this:
Blender texturizing, using the new made texture to match the colors up with the default 2k texture, alpha making(green, white, gray), DDS talk, making the textures look better.
18 Minutes Long

phpBB [video]

UPDATED 7/11/2014
CORRECT io_n2km included

Also the files that you will need(CF Id's,blender files, texture files, headshot links, what programs to use, where to get them)
[ Image ]

Thanks for this R4zor. However, I had this problem that after I load the DDS texture to Blender, Blender crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME. Any tips bro?

Well i put all the info in the rar file, but as i can see people are too bored to read, so i'ma just tell you.
If u have pressed on the option when instaling blender, that you want the scripts to be in the blender folder then u go to program files->blender foundation->blender->.blender->scripts and put it into there.

But if you pressed to not have the script folder it in the blender installation, it will be put up in the appdata->blender foundation->blender->.blender->scripts
but i'm not so sure about the this one, because i just installed all my scripts using the first technique, it's a lot easier.
