Miami Heats plan should be making sure that lebron even offering him a max contract and disregarding the paycut shit. Second is to keep Wade and Bosh. Some rumors say that Bosh is asking 90mil in 5 yrs which is outrageous maybe they can ditch Bosh and make a run at Gasol. Lastly, put some effective role players like Channing Frye, Greives Vasquez, Shawn Marion, Ed Davis and even probably Emeka Okafor and some undafted rookies (James Mcadoo and Patric Young) and stop going after high profile players because it might ruin there system and screw their touches.

As much as I like Pau Gasol, Frye would be the better fit for the Heat, if he would be available.

Frye would be worth getting if it means Bosh stops shooting so many 3's. Wasting his skills.

I hope the Heat will sign the undrafted rookie Patric Young. He's a Ben Wallace type of player.

I think bringing Gasol and Carter in for short term contracts now would get the Heat back in the finals. I say a 2 year window, then another retool.

Gasol will help keep the ball moving, so with Bosh they would have 2 guys who can pick and roll/pop shoot from midrange and both are nifty at getting to the basket. Finesse over power, to be sure. It doesnt help them so much defensively... but watching the whole team play isolation in the finals was cringe-worthy. LeBron would get Gasol more touches than Kobe did thats incentive right there.

Bring in Vince Carter to spell Wade and Allen. Rotating the 3 of them would preserve ALL their legs, and Carter adds an extra 3 point shooter and passer. If he can get out on the wings, expect some vintage dunks too.

I see Napier as fitting in more as a John Paxon/Steve Kerr/BJ Armstrong type. Let LeBron bring the ball up ala Jordan/Pippen 9Lets face it, its time for James to play point-forward0 and let the new PG run off screens to spot up, or drive. I don't see Lowry being signed now that Napier is there. They already have 3 point guards so I'd start Napier, have Cole come off the bench and Chalmers can ride the pine until he proves himself again. Besides, remember that other big 3 in Boston, yeah... Rondo became that team's best player... I'm willing to bet Napier becomes their #2 guy in a year or 2.

Then, who's left that will take MLE? minimum contracts? Undrafted picks?

Sounds like Gasol's likely going to Oklahoma City, so he's probably not an option.

Pat Riley lost bids on all big name free agents. I can envision big three dismantling now. Let the fun time begin. LoL

I still think they're at least keeping LeBron, and most likely Wade. The only one I'm thinking might be iffy is Bosh, but it still wouldn't not surprise me if they all returned.

Team is done, they'll resign Wade to save face and because they're going to stink for the foreseeable future anyway.

They got two-rings and four Finals trips out of it, plus that win streak, still one of the great runs in league history.

Or not. Ben Wallace was a freakishly good athlete when he came into the league. I don't see that same explosiveness in Patric Young.

I believe they will have at least more than Wade. Even if Bosh and LeBron leave, what of the huge salary cap? It must be spent somewhere. And Bosh and LeBron salary cap= 1 mega star which isn't currently available.

Hence, I believe the "stink" remarks are too early, they still have a chance retool and compete.

lolz at LeBron to Bulls. He would fucking retire before joining Jordan feet.

wade is the only 100% imo. they will of course offer lebron whatever he wants to stay because you dont let him leave but wade is the one i am positive will stay. lebron may choose to move on though i also think he stays in the end

Hahaha. I told you this. Napier isn't going to be better than Chalmers in his first season.

3 for 15 shooting, 2 assists, 12 miserable points, and 8 turnovers

That's against Marcus Smart and Pressey backcourt with Olynyk protecting the mid.

As for Marcus Smart, he's a great defender but can't shoot jack and looks like a sucky playmaker. Avery Bradley anyone? LoL

Very strange.... McRoberts and Granger? They need a C and PG

Granger has been injured for the past 4 years... and McRoberts hasn't really done much of anything so far...

Granger pretty much is a minimum sign ala Rashard Lewis. McRoberts imo is worth MLE.

The thing is this isn't enough as neither is a game changer. More significance needs to be done to bring back this team to a life. Or is Riley trying to bulk up the depth to kinda go Spurs?

Granger is their replacement for Shane Battier/Mike Miller.
McRoberts is for Joel Anthony, which is laughable considering the discrepancy in talent getting that scrub McRoberts.

Granger who always gets it in with Wade and McRoberts who planned to disable LeBron this playoffs?

What type of messed up signings are these? I can't imagine them having the effect that Mike Miller, Ray Allen or Birdman had.

Bad Riley.

Granger never really returned from his injuries. His game rapidly declined after 2010 and he is an old man at 31. Last years numbers were just horrible and I do not expect him to bounce back to be a 7th, 8th or even 9th man of any contending team.
I think signing McBob wasn't that bad on the other hand. He is a versatile big man and I like his passing abilities.
Still those guys are nothing more but consolation prizes...
