Reveals Durant as the cover athlete.

Call me crazy... maybe a bigger emphasis on street ball this year?

Fine choice. Certainly an early announcement this year, though the timing does make sense.

I am completely fine with KD on the cover, I wonder if that means they'll have a "Kevin durant path to greatness mode"

I kind of hope not. It reduces our chances of seeing Creating a Leftos mode.

I predicted this cover..it was more or less choice between KD or LBJ (again) for 2k and yeah understandable because they are currently 2 of the best in the league, but I was wondering why not choose someone who ain't that much mainstream (by 2k standards) like Tony Parker, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony .. just for the refreshing effect tho

It used to be that rising stars that weren't necessarily superstars would grace the cover but 2k10 with Kobe and then Jordan the following year changed that. With Live I could see someone like Lillard or Wall grace the cover but 2k has to always outdo itself now.
