If only Chelsea hadn't fucked up against Sunderland the title race would have been 3 way. Well Liverpool have to win their remaining games and hope that City will either lose or draw one or if City also wins all of their games they have to produce so many goals in the span of just two games.

Mourino is the most nastiest motherfucker

Suarez fails to perform against a big team, again. But it's Gerrard's fault that they lost this one. I feel bad for Phil

Suarez hasn't really been in form lately for some reason. It's always harder to find space against the top teams. He just won the PFA Player of the Year award though, deservedly.

Of all the people to concede a goal like that it had to be Gerrard. :( He must be shattered. I just hope it isn't one of those moments that is remembered for decades as a title deciding blooper.

Oh and don't feel bad for me. :P It's just a game after all. If you had told me Liverpool would be in this position at the start of the season I'd have been thrilled. Top 4 was the aim and this title run has just been an exciting bonus.

We are still top of the league, for now. Man City travel to Everton next which could be tough. They haven't won at Goodison in 5 years and Everton are still chasing 4th spot. They only need to draw that game to give Liverpool back the initiative. Their goal difference gives them a big advantage.

I'm sure there will be more twists to come before it's over.

Bayern destroyed at home by Real, who must surely be favourites to win it now.

Now it's just up to Atletico to somehow get past the bus that will be parked at Stamford Bridge to set up a Madrid derby CL final.

Wow. BAYERN & GUARDIOLA-- BEST EVER.

Either way it should be an easy ride to Le Desima for RMad. Because, everybody knew that this semi-final was actually the final. And CR7 is almost a lock for the next Ballon d'Or. Because Messi won't be any competition this time. Suarez would have been the closest, but that will go out the window as well because he won't break the 34 goals record and Liverpool might not win the league after all. And Bayern players are out the window as well.

WC will play a big role. But neither Portugal, Argentina or Uruguay will win it. It will most likely be Spain, Germany or some other hot shot team which aren't one-man teams.

So it's the Madrid Derby at the UCL final. Rooting for Atletico on this one. Want to see them have the league and UCL double.

The first ever city derby in a CL final. It will be interesting to see how the match goes. I think Atletico have a genuine chance of winning it.

"The Special One" has now lost 6 of 8 CL semi finals. Yet they fired Di Mateo and Benitez after winning European trophies. Abramovich

Now only Aston Villa and West Ham stand between Man City and the title. It could be their second title in 2 years won on goal difference. :?

I feel like Sunderland deserve big credit. They looked like they were all but relegated a couple of weeks ago. Now with wins against Cardiff, Chelsea and Man Utd, plus a draw at Man City and they look set to stay in the premier league. Well done Gus Poyet.

Benitez just won the Italian cup with Napoli. 1 more trophy than Mourinho has won this season.

Would be crazy if City and Liverpool lost one of their last games and Chelsea wins both of theirs.

Yep. Funny how that ended up mattering for them, again. At the start of the season, people really didn't care that much for all the 5-0, 4-0 thrashings they were giving on a regular basis...but, little things.

I don't feel it's fair. Because they lost to Liverpool who were the main contenders. If anything, Chelsea should win it

That would be terrible. Mourinho took all the fun out of this season for me last weekend and I'd much rather see an attacking manager like Pellegrini win the title if Liverpool can't.

At the end of the day it was their better defending that gave them the advantage. Both teams have scored 96 goals in 36 games, but Liverpool have conceded 9 more. It's tough to have such a great season and still possible finish behind someone else. :(

To think that we went on a 16 win and 2 draw run and still probably won't be champions. This league is crazy hard to win.

Chelsea only draw against Norwich. If Liverpool beat Crystal Palace tonight then Chelsea are out of the title race and it will go down to the last day of the season. Doesn't look that tough for Man City though with both games at home for them.

I wonder if Mourinho will keep his word.

Pretty much every league is over at this moment.

Real Madrid blew away their golden chance by drawing against Valencia when Atletico had lost the night before. It will be very shocking if ManC(who have only lost 1 of their 17 games played home) lose the last 2 games. Juventus, Bayern and Paris are already champions.

Only 2 thrills left are the CL final & German Cup final.

It's funny how we all say that City will definitely win their 2 remaining games at home. Yet Norwich yesterday and Sunderland the week before showed that nothing in this league is certain. Aston Villa themselves almost won at Anfield earlier in the season.

I still have hope. Obviously not as much as I did before the Chelsea game, but enough to not give up yet. Image

Never mind. Just woke up to find out they gave up a 3-0 lead against Crystal Palace.

The only way Liverpool can win it now is if Man City lose one of their two games. I just can't see them losing either of them at home though.

Prove me wrong Aston Villa and West Ham, prove me wrong. :cheeky:
