question about logo file structure

hi there,
I'm trying to add a new teams to my game,

and according to JaoSming's video, we have to edit two types of files to customize their logos,

one type is the logoXXXX.iff files, with XXX being the numbers,

one is the logos_large.iff

does anyone know what effect will editing these files have on the game? which will deal with the jersey logos, which will deal with the team selection or replay logos???

also, it seems like there is a limit to the number of logos, and since I'm editing logos files that are already pretty full, I can only really find logos that I want to replace in d-league logos, found in the logos_large.iff files, but I can't find these corresponding logos in the logoXXXX.iff files, does anyone have any advice??

logos_size - Files that contain different sized logos for in-game menus.

for adding teams, you can really ignore the size files, the iff/cdf ones. There will just be no logos in the menus, you dont lose much of anything.

Only important ones are the logo###.iff files, you can get the old d-league ones from previous games, or just make new ones. Jerseys tab in RED MC chooses which logo to use, based on the uniform selected, and of course the teamlogo in the teams tab.

I'm new to this, so just want to be sure,
the logo under RED MC's Team tab is refferring to the logos size file, right?
and the logo under Jerseys refers to the logo###.iff files?

oh, what I meant in regarding to the d-league logos is that I found them in the logo size files, and I know I can replace them. I want to somehow make them appear in the menu, however, I don't know their logo numbers, and I can't find them in this thread, viewtopic.php?f=154&t=94824
and the numbers where I found them don't match what's in your list that was in another thread as well.

that is because the d league teams havent been in the game for a couple years, those are leftovers. From the 2K12 tutorials section
D-League Teams:
051 - Tulsa 66ers
052 - Springfield Armor
053 - Erie BayHawks
054 - Reno Bighorns
055 - Los Angeles D-Fenders
056 - Iowa Energy
058 - Bakersfield Jam
067 - Texas Legends
059 - Fort Wayne Mad Ants

I've just checked, seems like those numbers don't apply to my NBA 2k14.

so far I've only found,

050 is the 14ers
057 is the Utah Flash

it would make sense if one can add or delete records in the logo size files.... has anyone found a way?

edit: so far I've checked up to 390, other d-league logos that I've found still haven't showed up, isn't that weird?

dont get hung up on this, honestly I would just ignore the size files and only do the logo###.iff files. The game wont crash and the impact is IMO minimal.

yeah, I've checked up to 1159 now, no more d-league logos showed up,
it's weird because they are in the logo size files, but they just cannot be found,

anyways, I'll move on, thanks for your help.

you're right that
logo size files are determined by what's under the team tab, and are logos that appear in the team selection menu and manage roster.

however, what determines the logos inside the actual game?? it seems like even though I modified the stuff under team tab, the correct logos are still showing up during introductions or in the box score..

edit: I don't if anyone has tried it, but it seems like we can also use watermark files for logos

_wm is wordmark and yes they have been used for create a team logos, extra uniforms, and I'm currently using them for the hold the court/street career mod

like I said a few times now, logo### is in-game logos, as long as the uniform logo points to it

Hi i have a Problem,with other Court mods i see playoff logo in the Game but with this one "NBA 2K14 Miami Heat HD Court Mod" i dont see it when i play Playoffs.This Court are the Best one but only that Problem what bothers me so.On Screenshot you can see which one is that,I got it from here "nba2k.org".Please can some one Help me how can i change only for Playoffs the Court?Because all files are called still the same at Miami Heat f010 ,but there are four different!

All Files are same Named "f010"
Eastern Conference Version
Playoffs Version
Regular Season Version
The Finals Version

I think the file names are SELF-EXPLANATORY. Since its the Playoffs, put the f010 file from the Playoffs Version to your nba 2k14 folder.
