Thanks Vlad. Sent another PM.

Anyone experiencing problems importing a csv file?

For my case, when I re-save an exported players.csv from excel, quotes("") are added on every line break. Those quotes aren't visible from excel, but when you open it on notepad you'll see it. Kind of frustrating as I did a lot of editing on that file without even testing if importing will work for me

Anyone that is or has issues importing CSV files, please use this Notepad ++. It works so good and holds the integrity of the CSV. Excel does not because of a few things

#1) names like New York must be "New York" and this is not held properly when using Excel.

#2) Also CSV files that use ID become unusable. Trust me on this use Notepad ++ and you will be glad you did.

You copied the playbooks tab from what roster and put it where? It's odd because I thought I had done this. Please let me know!

Thank you

Uncle Drew wrote:I've noticed this also, Chris Humphries was just standing around the 3 pt arch, and we all know he doesn't shoot 3's. Hope you guys find a solution.

Guys I think I may have found the solution or the problem. The problem may be Player ID related because I found a PF in one team that doesn't go to the 3PT line and a PF that goes to the 3 PT line all the time. I switched their slots (copy pasted them over each other) and the switched behavior despite having the same values in the parameters as before (tendencies, etc.) It's probably row-related.

I suspect a hidden parameter in the Players tab similar to the Play Initiator parameter in 2K12 and the Shorts Number in the Jerseys tab. It's not Playbook related at all.

Oh, if you're sure, it's not PB related, then, please, drop me your file, and tell their slot numbers, so i'll make a low-level comparison and try to find the hidden parameter.

Btw, Jao has posted a thread, which is recommended for everyone to look at: viewtopic.php?f=153&t=94877
RED MC is called "Modding Center" on purpose.

I've been using Red MC and I really like it but I stopped after Avast flagged it as a virus. I also checked it on virustotal, and 7 other scanners flag it:

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/8a8f ... /analysis/

Agnitum Trojan.Hupigon.Gen!Pac.6 20140302
Avast Win32:Dropper-gen [Drp] 20140304
Ikarus Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Banload 20140304
McAfee Artemis!DED209C0072B 20140304
McAfee-GW-Edition Heuristic.BehavesLike.Win32.Suspicious-BAY.S 20140304
Sophos Mal/EncPk-RC 20140304
TrendMicro-HouseCall TROJ_GEN.R047H08BS14 20140304

I don't know how to decipher that, but maybe Vlad or someone here can comment on this? Even if it's not a virus, I don't want to get some kind of spyware dropped on my machine. I bought a few licenses already so I feel kind of ripped off I can't use it.

If it's incorrect classification, Vlad should really look into getting it straightened out, it's bad for his business.

I checked earlier in the thread. Some people brought this up but I never saw an official answer. What's the official word on this?

Probably not... at least yet.

What's the official word on this?

These are false-positives.
RED MC is protected from hackers/crackers/pirates with obfuscation, crypting and some other methods. It also goes on-line on startup to check for a newer version.
And the reason why some antiviruses consider it to be suspicious is because they consider every single encrypted executable, which goes on-line, to be suspicious.
I don't want to sound abusive, but Kaspersky and Dr. Web are the only anti-viruses, me, being an IT guy, trust; AVG and NOD32 are also somewhat good; most others are too suspicious and generate many false-positives, occasionally missing some real harmful stuff at the same time.

Basically, i have absolutely no reason to include any sorts of viruses, spyware, trojans or whatever else harmful into the product, because i charge for advanced functionality and have some good revenue from it. I've developed editors for 2K games for 4 years in a row, and with no insults from thousands of users, you can trust, that this software is clean.

Thank you for your interest and your purchase!

Thanks Vlad for responding quickly. I appreciate the explanation of exactly why you think the program is flagged and when it downloads things online. That makes sense to me.

Everyone likes free, but the fact it's paid does give me a bit more trust since I can see that you treat it like a serious business.

I'll keep in mind your tip about Kaspersky. I used to use them but I cheaped out last year.

Registered the program but everything is still grey'd out? Restarted the program as requested but I still can't insert .CMG files. I clicked "order now" and there's a check next to "players, teams and team stats" yet, I'm still unable to open the files...?

You can't edit your currenty MyCareer file but you can edit the jersey in the roster before you start. You can't edit your Shoe Brand either.

You have to buy more file types to open CMG.

it all depends on what you want to do. If you want to make total conversion mods, all you really need are jerseys, stadiums, and teams. If you want to edit saves, you'll need the saves thing to open the other filetypes.

So, what you want to be able to make?

Can someone help me , i have this stupid problem , basically i wanna import player to another roster and everytime i do it player doesnt appear in game but the thing is that if i go to RED MC and assign him to free agents instead of him being assigned to team he shows up in the free agent pool , but is there something i can do to prevent this and have my players show up in the teams that i copied them to ?

1) The correct one: open Skill Boosts and replace everything, except ASA IDs, with zeroes.
2) The free one: open Players tab, go to Skills section. The first column is Overall, and the second one stores links to Skill Boosts. You can set those links to something, which already stores zeroes. But there are no guarantees in this case, that Asso, Career and other modes will work correctly.

This "Free" way does not work, the game reads the ASA ID from skill boosts anyway, so you can't get rid of this if you don't edit the skills boost tab... So I sent you some more money now :)
