Seeking Assistance on adding cyberface

So im new here and want to say this site is great, taking my NBA 2k experience to the next level!
So I am trying to add a cyberface to my created "Ben Wallace"
I tried to follow this tutorial here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs647MNRloU
ty for that btw, but when I open my roster save in the recommended roster editor and click player type twice and find all the players listed as "6" (supposed to be created players if I understood the video) I get a few regular players listed as a "6" and about 30 other players with no name. I have only created 1 created player..... so I am confused, if my Ben Wallace player is here I can not find him. Also I am getting players like Kwame Brown listed as a SG.....
PS I havent had a chance to use it, but the cyberface I downloaded is a NBA 2k12 version of Ben Wallace, if I can figure the rest out will that work?
Thank you ahead of time, and please bear with my noob-ness to 2K modding. I have been playing NBA 2K since Dreamcast! But im slow/incompetent when it comes to modding!
