NCAA MARCH MADNESS 2K14 ELITE 8 V8 RELEASE

Thanks to the work of two incomparable modders here at the NLSC, RayHoops1, and the UBR's own HAWK23, v8 features SEVEN additional Retro teams to the 2001 Duke Blue Devils. Those teams are the four Final 4 teams from 1995, the Loyola-Marymount and UNLV 1990 teams, the 1993 Fab 5 Michigan Wolverines, and as a bonus, the 2004 Illinois Fighting Illini! HAWK23 was also gracious and kind enough to do some other work with the March Madness 2K14 Roster, successfully removing the 'Retro' status from some of the later added teams, and making it so that ALL 40+ current teams show up alphabetically in-game. He also removed all of the Free Agents, which had been requested for some time, as well as all of the additional, unused Jersey slots, so you should no longer have any NBA jerseys sneaking into your NCAA jersey selection screens. All in all it makes for a much cleaner, more professional looking presentation, and I am incredibly thankful for his help and work! I also included the two missing Indiana Made in March uniforms. Lastly, I included Bamz' updated Draft Class NCAA Cyberfaces!

Directions for Manual Installation: (Manual Installation Tutorial Video [Start 1:45])
1 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 1' and 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 2' **. (Note: EVERYONE Must Do This!)
2 - Unzip the file. Inset all contents (the individual files, no folders) into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
3 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 3 v8'. (NOTE: Once you've downloaded Part 1 & 2, you ONLY need to download Part 3 for EACH update)
4 - Unzip the file. Insert all contents (the individual files, no folders) into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
5 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 Roster & Settings v8'.
6 - Unzip the file. Choose the proper folder for the Version of the game you are Installing (Lite or Full).
7 - Place the contents of the folder you chose into your appdata/Saves folder ***.
8 - If you wish to Overwrite some of your NBA files, and play the Full version of the release, download 'March Madness 2K14 FULL v8'. (Note: You MUST Download this with EACH Update)
9 - Unzip the file. Inset all contents into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
10 - Boot NBA 2K14. Load Roster and Settings.
11 - Crush Life.

* For Steam users, this directory is typically: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA2K14, for DVD Version: C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2k14
** Once you Download 'Lite Part 1' and 'Lite Part 2', you NEVER need to Download them again. You will ONLY need to Download 'Lite Part 3' for each and every update that follows.
*** This is usually the pathway: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K14\Saves

wow this mod is definitly becoming one of the best mods in 2K14 or 2K history period. It is up there with 2K12s UBR by Hawk.

However I am missing Derrick Walton , Mich. PG CF. I may have installed something wrong or is every on missing this . I only download the part 3 , rosters , and lite v8 when I update . Am I suppose to DL and install everything every update

I finally got the chance to play this mod and, I have to say, it blew me away. The presentation, the teams, everything is awesome. Beautiful work. My only question is, what's the best setup to play a season mode? When I go to start an Assoc, it still has all the NBA 2k14 settings. I'm just curious. Thanks!

32 games (I believe that's the option... whatever it closest to that), 7 minute Quarters, turn all trades off. Use the Settings that are included with the Roster download.

Pitt's home crowd is the Wisconsin home crowd & colors and Wisconsin has Pitt's home crowd & colors. It seems they have been reversed somehow. The courts are correct, it is just the crowd, so I assume it is either the team or stadium files.( I don't know their team numbers to switch and see). I loaded the v7 roster and both home crowds were correct, so it appears to be a v8 thing.

Just wanted to verify that it is indeed switched. Used Cinncy and they had the Vols crowd. If there is a tut on crowd modding I would be willing to do the leg work, just need a direction to locate the tut, couldn't find one on the NLSC. Btw, amazing job all the way around! Now if we could only get a 64 team tournament in the game, lol!

I was going to try that, but I don't know their team numbers for the s.iff files to try and switch the stadium files. The actual name files are for the f.iff court files, and they are both correct. Also, I don't understand why the v7 roster file has them both correct. If it is something in the v8 full files, I would think it should be incorrect when I loaded the v7 full roster too, because the v7 full files were overwritten with the v8 files.

There is the answer to my question. I didn't check other teams, I was just trying Pitt when I saw the switch. Pitt & Cincy were both just converted from the retro area in the new roster, so I would say it is in the roster file itself, not the v8 full file. I will check the other teams that were moved from the retro area to see if that is the case.

I believe you're correct reme. I loaded the v7 roster while using the v8 full game files and the crowds were changed back to the correct colors.

Teams that I have found that the crowds have been switched:

Creighton has UCLA crowd, Gonzaga has Villanova, Butler has Syracuse, Oklahoma with I think it is Wichita state. Other moved teams I checked seemed to be okay so far as I can see. Plus the post from bucknutz regarding cincy has the vols. Based on that, I checked Tennessee and they didn't look correct, but I couldn't make out the crowd.

Hey! I've been having trouble finding the Final Four Court in update 7. I downloaded just part 3 and the full part if that might be a cause. I really want to use it, so if anyone has any tips I'd be grateful!

Hey Big,

Thank you once again for your team's continuous upgrade of this superb mod. One minor issue I've noticed is that when I use PITT's alternate (gold) uniforms, it shows Cincinnati's logos during an actual game. At the team select screen, it properly shows the PITT logo but IN GAME, it always displays Cincinnati's. I saw the error in REDMC but I cannot change it because I don't have a license to do so. Thank you for you effort once again.
