MARCH MADNESS 2K14 v9 (Update 4.2.14)

Big, thanks so much to you guys for putting this great college buckets mod together! One problem for me however. I downloaded all 3 Lite files and took every individual file from each of the 3 folders and placed them in my NBA 2K14 folder. No luck when playing the game because everything was still NBA but it turns out that that was the wrong folder and was not the directory. So, silly me, I just noticed where the directory was for Steam users on the instructions. So, I thought I had it all in the bag. I took each individual file from the 3 folders for like the 1000th time and then pasted them into the SteamApps NBA 2K14 folder.

So, I fire up 2K, hoping that I'll finally get a chance to play college hoops again but of course, it was still all NBA and this is driving me nuts. I feel like I tried everything already. I'm a Steam user. It said the directory was in the SteamApps section. I put the files there in the NBA 2K14 folder and absolutely nothing. It's like the game was never touched. Can you please help me Big? Or someone else? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Did you download the Roster & Settings and place those in the appropriate folders? Those go in the appdata/Saves folder, not the Main Directory. After that, you need to Load the March Madness 2K14 roster in-game (Lite if you're only downloading the non-overwrite Lite files, or Full if you're overwriting your NBA files with the Full version). If you don't load the roster, then everything will remain NBA.

Appreciate the response big. For Steam users, where is the appdata/saves folder? Because I looked in the 2K Games folder where the NBA 2K14 folder was and nothing. So for Steam users, where would the appdata/saves folder be? Thanks a lot,

y sure the saves file has been created. you have start the game and do a save some sort from within the game. then the game makes the saves folder where it suppose to be. see if that the problem.

search for %appdata% and it should be within a folder called I believe roaming.

lol nope NDSU pulled off the upset! By the way thanks again bro, the rosters worked. Just a couple of other quick questions. The full game files need to be in the directory too right? Because when I put it there, there was no fight songs, just the regular songs. Also, if I was to have the full roster, I need to load both the Lite roster and full roster in game right? Or no? Also, I ave only one controller plugged in but it shows 2 players. So when I go to practice, there's 2 players on the hardwood :p Oh and I got Wisconsin winning the whole thing!

I had NDSU losing. I actually had Oklahoma getting to the Sweet 16 and losing to Oklahoma State. It was my only loss of Day 1. Hoping to have the same success today. In today's games, I have all chalk, except Providence, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State, I believe. A recipe to have my bracket completely busted. Just glad I was able to hit on Harvard and Dayton yesterday.

For the files, ONLY the Roster and Settings get put into that roaming/appdata/saves folder. Otherwise, download All 3 Lite Download Parts, and the Full Download, and put ALL of those files in your main 2K directory. Then you will have fight songs, overlays, the whole shebang. As far as the 2 players are concerned, I don't know. Maybe Player 2 is being read as the keyboard, would be my only guess.

As long as you have all your Final 4 teams left, you're all good. Crushing Round 1 is just for boasting. It never ends up winning a pool for you. I am notoriously good in Round 1, and by the time the Elite 8 rolls around, I'm lucky if I have 2 of my Final 4 teams left.

FWIW, my Final 4 is UCLA, Baylor, Wichita St, and Iowa St, with the Cyclones being my eventual champions.

At the moment, I don't intend on adding more schools. Possibly down the road, but for the duration of this tournament, expect to have the 40 some odd teams that are currently in and that's likely it. Thank you, on behalf of everyone who worked so hard, for the kind words.

how to use final 4 court

Oklahoma State stadium do not work. After the starting line up screen the game do not start, so there is something with the stadium

there ea post back a little ways it concerns the dornaoklahomastate.iff (think im spelling it right) it needs to be removed. it should work then. the exact on on page 42.

it may be the court itself. it maybe the dorna. there two different things. read back im saying and if that helps. the donra been known to cuase crash with them

You will have to rename the final 4 court to the home teams court for that game. ex rename the final 4 court to fvillanova.iff, if they were the home team and the game will be played on the FF court. That is the only way I know how to use it if you are playing in playoff mode. Save your original home team court before you change to the FF court so you can switch back to the teams home court.
