Edit: As with the old site I was reminded to do a Patch of the Week. This time I am calling it Download of the Week. It will be based on the Downloads per Day average of the patches released. It will be reviewed every Friday and posted here and on the site.
The winner for the week ending 8/27/04 (Sebastian Telfair by LBM)

I did a major overhaul of the RemixTeam site. I got tired of looking at it so I redid the design, placed it on a new dedicated server with 99.9% uptime and added a File Manager for you guys to be able to upload your patches and/or previews. It also counts the number of downloads for any given patch so you can see its popularity. If you want you can even host a site. This is strictly for NBA Live use only though. Check the site out I think its pretty cool. So far I only have my Vlade Divac patch online.
PM me if you are interested in having some files hosted and I'll give you the login and create a folder for you on the server.

Hey Giovanni, long time no see. I was wondering if you still have most of the patches I've made on that site.
I'm trying to get back into patching, but I don't know where to start.

Yeah long time man, I still have all of the patches that you did before and I was in the process of making a page for them. If you want I could still host everything. I'm on a stable server, finally, so things should be up indefinitely this time. Just let me know so we can get started again

Cool Andres. You make amazing shoes. I have just about all of your shoes in my game. I'll go ahead and copy your shoes from your site and the thread and post them on the site. I'll PM you the filemanager details so that you can just upload your stuff there instead of on the upload.serverseed site cause I see from your thread you were having some type of issue with them.

Welcome Back LBM! I saw your site and the design was cool.

Word of advice though, try limiting the pics in the site cause it loads real slow for us 56kers.

Yeah, good to see you back LBM. Your patches are always outstanding.
Not that I need it, but what kind of webspace do you have? Just curious.

i like the site design and love the logo simple yet stylish and very clean i like it from respects from a graphic designer

Little_Big_Man what website do you get those great player pics from?
Sat Jul 31, 2004 4:56 am
Courtney: I get the player pics from
http://www.gettyimages.com. Just do a search for the player name and the word media, ex. "Devean George Media"
Camazing: Its a dedicated server I just installed for this business. All it does is webhost and there are no bandwidth restrictions and I have allocated 9G of shared space for you guys if you want.
][]]Ragon: Yeah I like this design much better than my last. I will have to optimize it though because I can tell now how slow it loads due to the graphics. The design will stay the same I'll just try to use lower resolution pics.

:O 9GB and unlimited bandwidth, that is quite excellent. May I ask, how do you set up a server?
Sat Jul 31, 2004 5:39 am
Since it doesn't take a workhorse machine to host a site I basically built them a workstation and intalled Windows 2000 Advanced Server on it. Then I configured IIS to host multiple sites with host headers, installed an email server, updated the MDAC for database integration and registered the dll's for the upload and chat functions. I partitioned off 9G of the 80G HD to host my files. A server can be configured in multiple ways but this was the way I chose since its just a webserver for a small company. Since the site wasn't going to be high volume they just allowed me to build a workstation and connect it to a dedicated T-1 connection. Though T-1's aren't as fast as most ISP's use, I'm only hosting a handful of sites so its sufficient.

Ahh I see. I think setting up a server wouldn't be in my hardware's capabilities right now
Sat Jul 31, 2004 6:04 am
Well I optimized the images so the top banner is now 50k instead of over 100k like it was before. This should help out you 56k people out some
