!!** REFEREE MODE **!!

Hey wats crackin...im new to this site but hope to be around for awhile. I've been an NBA Live gamer for awhile now and think that it is the best basketball game on the market now and will continue into the future. I have a few ideas that i would like to add. This one is pretty stupid but bear with me. It has no point what so ever but how many think that a referee mode would bring alittle more realism into the game?¿ You could actually be a ref. and ref. a game or whatever, calling the shots and so forth. maybe have certain buttons for certain calls. I know its stupid but dont try to diss me too much guys [/b]

It's not a stupid idea, coz being the ref would be kinda fun, but it would be way to difficult to insert into the game. There's not enough buttons on, say, a PS2 controller. While there is maybe enough key's for the PC version, the other version would be missing out.

Also, the time it would take to make this would be much better spent improving the gameplay, dynasty mode, and the other important things in the game.

wouldn't it get boring though? I mean maybe in the first five minutes, it will be fun. But after that, you're gonna be doing this same stuff throughout the whole game. And that is running around, calling fouls, and raising ur hands up. So, I don't think it is a good idea.

Yea i guess i didnt think about all that stuff... there are quite a few problems that would be better fixing in the game than wasting there time on that .... but thanks for the comments

They could actually star putting a ref. on the court and make him call fouls properly.

You might be able to see a referee mode in maybe NBA Live.........2012....or when they got nothing else to put in the game.

That would be a change.

It would be new and interesting, but I too think it would ultimately get a little boring.

I would be satisfied if the referees made the hand signals every time they make a call... I think it's exciting when the offensive player runs over the defender and I look towards the ref for the call... and when the ref like Dick Bavetta or someone does the blocking signal with authority, that's hilarious.

have it be in first person so that u feel like you are thre ref that would be hot...

and the other team can challenge it if you make a bad call...

It would also be dope if you could go into dynasty mode and ref and you get fined if you are consistantly makin bad calls and if you mad bad calls all season you should be fired and the dynasty is literally over for u.

good idea....i personally like it....i didnt even think about that when i started this forum...but yea that would be alright to do

u know wut i think that would be kinda cool but after a while it would get really boring cuz ur doin the same thing the whole game but if a player talks trash to u then u could toss him outta the game i think that would be the best part about being a ref.
