PSA for Ball Patch Users

Along with all star stuff, NBA 2K14 has updated the ball texture with Adam Silver's signature. This means the game will automatically use that ball over any that you download.

I've just noticed an increase in popularity of ball mods lately, so I wanted to get this out early.

ok. and why don't we for example just copy modified files from main folder to the Online Data folder and set Read Only attribute for them? and don't change roster.iff file. I guess then the game can modify only files that don't have RO attribute. at least this works for ball update I'd just checked. after this we will have Online Data folder that updates regularly and we can decide what update change and what don't change. so we can use 2K's updates unless some great patchers release new outstanding updates. correct me if I wrong.

Upd: I find where I was wrong the game should first delete all the files from downloads\latest folders, and only after that she downloading files to 'latest' and then copies them to 'downloads'. and if something goes wrong the updating process just stops thats crap.

Uhh, JaoSming the first post is the first thing i read. What i'm trying to say is i can't get it to work. I get this error. I checked the error log and it says:

Could not load file or assembly 'LeftosCommonLibrary, Version=1.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Here's the error.

I can't get it to read the nbaball file in the folder even after I've turned the nbaball.iff in the online data downloads folder to read only. Can anyone help?
