MARCH MADNESS 2K14 v4.1 FULL PATCH:

There were no issues reported with LITE v4, so that's staying for now. I've released, however, a v4.1 FULL patch, which should correct Season/Association issues, and add Butler as the 41st Playable Team, among other minor updates (check Change Log). You'll also notice that now LITE Part 1 & 2 are one-time downloads, and we will have a Part 3 that is needed to be downloaded with each update.

Directions for Manual Installation: (Manual Installation Tutorial Video [Start 1:45])
1 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 1' and 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 2' **. (Note: EVERYONE Must Do This!)
2 - Unzip the file. Inset all contents (the individual files, no folders) into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
3 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 3 v4.1'. (NOTE: Once you've downloaded Part 1 & 2, you ONLY need to download Part 3 for EACH update)
4 - Unzip the file. Insert all contents (the individual files, no folders) into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
5 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 Roster & Settings v4.1'.
6 - Unzip the file. Choose the proper folder for the Version of the game you are Installing (Lite or Full).
7 - Place the contents of the folder you chose into your appdata/Saves folder ***.
8 - If you wish to Overwrite some of your NBA files, and play the Full version of the release, download 'March Madness 2K14 FULL v4.1'. (Note: You MUST Download this with EACH Update)
9 - Unzip the file. Inset all contents into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
10 - Boot NBA 2K14. Load Roster (and for Lite Version, March Madness 2K14 Settings; Full Version should auto-load Settings).
11 - Crush Life.

* For Steam users, this directory is typically: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA2K14, for DVD Version: C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2k14
** Once you Download 'Lite Part 1' and 'Lite Part 2', you NEVER need to Download them again. You will ONLY need to Download 'Lite Part 3' for each and every update that follows.
*** This is usually the pathway: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K14\Saves

OK, I don't know why, but I just downloaded part 1, then downloaded the part2s of every update and I only get the faces of like Texas, VCU, and a couple other teams, while teams like Arizona, Duke, Cal, etc don't have jerseys. So I have a couple questions. For each part 2, do I overwrite the previous part 2's files or not, or does it not matter? And 2nd of all, do I have to download the files from the demo, or should they all work from part 1?

If you go back right now and download Parts 1, 2, and 3, you'll have every file you need. If you want Full, then also download Full, and you'll be all set.

i have suggestion so we help each other out on cus leauge. if we can how if we list what teams and how you configuring the leauge. that may help us fiure if there a is a comon custiom spot issue.

It's gotta be a specific team related, cause I had people test standard league, custom league, custom association, etc. and the only crashing was after the All-Star game, which I understand is a problem even with default rosters. I didn't get a single report of crashing.

If you can remember, let me know what teams were specifically subbed in and out. Thanks a lot.

Right now, I have only tried to edit 4 players from Kansas Jayhawks. High quality images are very limited, if you have any, don't hesitate to share:

This roster is only to be used with the Full version of the mod, it replaces certain files from NBA 2k14. Of you want to use it, be sure to place it in a separate 2k folder.

Sir, if you'd like to use this as base for the next version, you can. Nothing actually is edited, only the portraits for the players. If this will be the base, I'm willing to create portraits for all the players.

My main issue with portraits is it's typically very hard to find good photographs for everyone other than major players and major programs, and you end up with these awkward in-game shots that are low quality and just look terrible. These 4 look pretty good. If you do as good a job on other players and teams, I would use the portraits. I still think it will be too hard to find them for most teams and players, though; which is why I typically prefer the 2K cyberface portrait.

I do share the same thoughts. High quality images are very rare that is why I said it would be great if anyone would share images they find on some of the players. I'll definitely post the almost done Kansas team later.

The only common theme is that always sub out Albany and replace them.

I'll try a season game with only Albany swapped out with SMU.
