Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

They've shown a lot of potential for a few years now. Just have to put it all together. Hopefully Chud can do that for yall
Been rooting for j. cameron all year. picked him in fantasy. went to hs with him

Playoffs time!
Week 1 Picks
KC vs Indy
I think Indy's got this one locked. KC's been looking pretty bad the latter half of the season, they lost a great defensive player, and it's Andy Reid in the playoffs.
NO vs. PHI
This hard to pick. NO is terrible on the road, but its Drew Brees. Nick Foles and Lesean McCoy have been beasing this year. I'm counting on the NFC East being terrible and going NO
SD vs CIN
Bengals, unless Rivers goes off for like 500 yards, which while possible I don't think will happen. I never trust the Chargers in the playoffs, and they did limp in
SF vs GB
Some of my favorite games in recent memory have been between these two. Rodgers is back, Lacy looks good etc. SF has stifling defense...and Kaepernick is always capable of going off. I think I have to go SF as GB just hasn't put enough young talent on D or on the O-Line to keep Rodgers upright

Dammit i might be busy today so i might miss the NO/PHI game which is the only game I really wanna watch this weekend.
I think KC will edge Indy
I think Philly's gonna beat NO
Cincy should win
I want GB to beat SF but the Niners seem to have had their number in recent years so I tihnk 49ers take it tomorrow

Since football is little talked about in this forum, may as well throw in a little college football into this. But no Auburn miracle today, FSU wins in a pretty good game and ends the SEC tyranny.

Nooooo, I know about that thread, but since football in general gets a post once a month, may as well combine it right?

Then I'm truly sorry. Unfortunately, I can't delete it.
More NFL related, playoff predictions?
I got Seahawks over Saints
The visiting Colts over Patriots
49ers over Panthers.
Chargers upsetting Payton Manning.

Seahawks over Patriots was my pre-season pick and I'm sticking with it! Percy Harvin being out (bad trade - it's official) concerns me because the offense has been garbage the last couple of months, but I think defense and 12th man should get us the win tomorrow. Super Bowl is another story of course but it's too early to think about that!
Sun Jan 19, 2014 4:56 am
its a shame about harvin. the saints were obviously headhunting and we should be asking who got the bounty on that. but id like to see a seahawks & broncos super bowl which seems likely but we never really know with tom brady
Mon Jan 20, 2014 1:43 pm
whoa, crazy game between SF &seattle but im glad the seahawks pulled it out!

After Philip Seymour Hoffman passed away, I needed this. But did anyone see this coming? 12th mannnn
Mon Feb 03, 2014 8:29 pm
Having never really watched an NFL game before, I thought I'd at long last check one out, being the Super Bowl and all. Clearly that jinxed Denver, so my apologies to Broncos fans everywhere.
