The shutup's were pretty legit, you were interfering in something that did not involve you. I doubt a moderator would ask you to shutup just for the sake of it.

It was meant in a light hearted way, people aren't always polite, sweet & bubbley, sometimes a shutup is quite alright. In that situation, a shutup made more of an impact than a say, "Oh Lankyman, please, please do not voice your opinions, it's not really wanted and has nothing to do with the issues at hand, oh please, for heaven's sake, let go of the Princ..ehm, sorry...too much Mario saving Princess Peaches.

The other ones, (mine) were pretty legit too, me & Jae have spoken about the times people we don't really get along with on the forum (hehehe, get along with, I sound like a dirty politician, making the situation sound all nice by using nice words..) adding us to their MSN list. I said it in that post, if I don't like you on the forum, chances are I won't like you on my MSN list. It's got limited space, I only have a 16 Bit memory. ( )

Hate to beat a dead horse but when I said shut up, I was not trying to be insulting or piss you off or anything... but we had an argument going on between Jackal and Slam Harder, and I was trying to cool them down. You saying

So, the logical part was for me to tell you to but out and in the most blunt way possible I could think of was "shut up"... that's all it was. Most people agreed later that it was good moderating, although I didn't intend for the slew of "shut up"s that followed.

Now, it seems to me that a discussion can go on in this thread that could be productive... ie how to improve other members' views of yourself as a poster (not just you Lankyman, but any member.)
