I cant wait for some 80's mods man then i can probally jump ship from 2k12 ubr, even tho i love what they have done i just cant get with those dinosaur animations anymore. The animations on 13 and 14 are light years ahead of 2k12 but there team seems to not want to move on to a better platform in which i can respect because it would be a lot of work considering how many seasons they have but sometimes you know what they say you gotta move on to something better and 13 and 14 are no doubt better with 14 the best in my opinion because there is a lot better spacing, tho it is similar to 13 i like the spacing better, theres not nearly as much bumping. Some may argue but the best basketball was played in the 80's man those early jordan and barkley and ahkeem the dream years was classic. We got to at least have jordans rookie season lol, he's the GOAT

Ok guys i will have to ask for donation for Reditor 2k14, in my situation i must ask for it. I know, its embarrasing, but without job its really hard to spend even 20$ on modding tool. So if u like what u see in URB, just donate even 1$, maybe other 20 users will donate 1$. To be clear im not doing this for money, through last whole year i get about 70$ from users so hope u will understand my situation.

Member of NLSC PatTheHead contact with me with his really nice retro rosters so guys i believe soon i will release something really interesting. I think first PatTheHead will release his work as standalone, i must work it on this to make it full compatible without overwriting etc. Older players will be very happy with this my cooperation with PatTheHead. It looks like i finally find nice group of people with same passion to the history of basketball.

Now guys, what to do with URB 2k13, i dont want to just leave it, like any others roster patchers . I know many of you guys still prefer 2k13, or still did not get 2k14 copy because of many things. So guys i dont want to hurt those users. Personally i like 2k13 much more than 2k14 haha but like i said we gotta move on. There is some small possibility that i will failed in 2k14 because i dont know this game so good- but my target is 2k14. Any ideas about continue 2k13 project?

like you i prefer 2k13 , 2k13 gameplay is for me much better than 2k14 , 2k14 have a fantastic block system it's just the one thing very good in 2k14, for 2k13 i would like see retro with hd textures and all star team in each season. i begin work on this but i m not a great patcher like you or iamliliard . can you see what i do and say what do you think???

sure bro, problem with all star teams in 2k13(i dont know about 2k12) is similar for every season roster. When im trying to add all star teams in select teams menu, game works fine but when i start asso mode, something goes wrong and game crashes(it looks like game 'see" all star teams like normal league teams. So all star teams are great addon and i really love to add them in all rosters but those crashes killin me. Maybe in 2k14 i will solve this problem. About hd textures, i wish aimlillard back in action, his courts make retro waaaay better.

2k14 gameplay will be fixed soon, hope i will be able to implement slimms formulas into every retro roster 2, it will take time, but i think its time for quality not numbers of rosters. In 2k14 i will be releasing less rosters but with much more detailes in ratings/tendencies/coaching profiles/attributes to make gameplay closer to real. I count on help from portlandblazer, nbataks and others ofc. So really not gameplay is biggest problem, for me personally biggest problem are controls, i just hate this.

regarding other thoughts, i think you should switch to 2k14. i mean, if it fails, it's easy to return back to 2k13.

Personally, I would like the jump to 2K14 actually because of the controls. I guess I'm one of the few that prefers the 2k14 controls to 2K13 and the more balanced gameplay (IMHO).
