2K14 micro-stuttering

680M and problems with smoothness. Its really f up.

After reading all day long nVidia GPU forums I've solved the problem with that steps:

1.Downloaded and installed 314.22-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe ( the most stable driver for my 640M)
2.Overclocked the GPU just a little but like +50mhz (this will allow the 640M to operate everytime in burst mode)
4.Frame Limiter:58 FPS
3.Vsync Off
5.Pre Rendered Frame: 1
6.Power Managment: Maximum Performance

Game is super smooth and responsive

1 & 2 are the key from what I've read..BTW seems like nVidia Optimus is just broken in terms of stability...forums is full of complaint messages.

Good news, well maybe drivers and just a little more mhz were needed. And it looks like changing drivers for me are also the only solution. Well, always one model of series must be problematic, it looks like for 6xx its 640. So..have nice and smooth play haha

Well, i have the same problem, but it's strange.
I have a fluid game for like 10~15 minutes. 58 fps (bechmarked) with maximum graphics (AA and V-sinc on, reflections, everything on)
then suddenly (always after a foul or time out) the fps drops insanely, making the games almost unplayable. and it goes on until the end of the match, when everything goes back to normal.
if i play a second match without restarting the game, the fluid time falls to 5~10 minutes.
i've tried almost everything i saw here and in other threads, and the best i got is that the fluid time be a little longer, and the stuttering to be a little weaker.

my pc:
core i7 920
4gb ram
GeForce gtx 285
windows 7 ultimate

any ideas?
