Exactly what I was thinking. I don't know where George gets off making a statement like that. "Their success is the Michael Jordan era". What the fuck has this Pacers team ever done? Almost winning doesn't mean shit. Someone needs to remind George that the last time the Bulls played the Pacers in the playoffs the Bulls sent them home in 5 games but that doesn't matter either because we didn't win it all and like I said, almost winning doesn't mean shit. We (I'm D. Hop, I can say that) lost to the Heat in the ECF and so did they, how many games it went is irrelevant. The bottom line is we both fell short.shadowgrin wrote:Paul George pissed off the Bulls with his comments.
Thibs be mad and showed a defense copied off his system is no match for the original.
NovU wrote:As for the Pacers, they probably have a good excuse as this game was obviously going to be the challenging one from the get go, at Chicago on the back end of a back to back.

Andrew wrote:It was a brash and somewhat silly statement, but trash talk is all part of a heated rivalry. Let him say what he will, as long as the Bulls take care of business on the court.

I was wondering about the same too.
