Thanks for the screens and videos, Jao. Damn, man... that crowd. There's so much variety in the audience now.

The graphics/whining test was hilarious. Although I think the game looks incredible, I do agree with your nitpicks. In particular, some textures being more low res than you'd expect. I remember when they first released that 5,760px × 3,240px next-gen screenshot of LeBron and noticed how unusually low res the ball texture looked in comparison to LeBron's textures.

Not the best quality (pics taken on my tablet) but hope you enjoy them regardless.





I frequent these boards alot but don't post much and appreciate the great work the modders do and I agree that I've seen modded basketballs that do look better texture-wise than 2k14.

Is there any way to simply save individual replays like we are used to doing on the PC version of 2K ???

as far as the basketball texture, we can only see that if we pause the game and inspect it, what should bother us more is the ball is the wrong color for the most part. I have a brand new authentic NBA spalding sitting on my couch right now it's orange as a mofo not a hint of brown, although I expect after a year of playing with it it will turn into that dark brown leathery color once it's broken in. That's why some of the basketballs in the NBA are dark brown but most of them are orangey...

or at least it would be nice if they gave us options on just a few balls to use like they do in Fifa

Everything I've done is through the share feature. Anyone can match the "quality" of what I am doing. For screenshots & videos, link up your Facebook to the console. I use a custom NLSC list to annoy my NLSC buddies, but you can set the privacy settings to only you to avoid bothering RL friends and family.

Got a screenshot ready on screen? tap the share button, screenshot, upload to Facebook. I use Facebook over Twitter because FB gets the full resolution screenshot, Twitter resizes it. On FB, click it and go full screen with the image. Right click, open in new tab/copy image URL, use the [ img ] tags here, and done!

For videos, have your mic plugged in (my USB headset works on PS4, but you can use the mic that comes with it plugged into the controller) and double tab the share button to begin recording. Single click to stop recording. If you want to record your mic, press share, then options, then video capture or w/e, and enable your mic. After I stop the recording, goto share video, select what you just recorded, hit facebook, add a name if you want (I havent named any of them), and it uploads in the background.
Then I use Freemake to download the video using the default avi settings (H.264, MP3 audio, 720p). Since I am having issues with my mic volume, I open that avi in virtualdub. Save as wav to export the audio (rename the wav to mp3), open that in Audacity, adjust as needed, save as mp3. In virtualdub under video settings I do direct copy, under audio I do the use outside source audio or something like that to choose my MP3. Hit save as avi, and its done in a minute tops.

I'll try and do a tut on that video thingy.

Thanks for the instructions Jao, I pressed the share button quite a few times on accident not knowing what it does as I'm still adjusting to the new controller.

Also there's no red tint to the game like there was on the trailers and people started obsessing over it.

before the game, yes, not during though unfortunately.

^ that's as good as a cyberface gets for last gen, but still the difference in textures is ridiculous, they really made this game look great on next gen... I got game mode ON in my Samsung settings and it's giving me that slick HDR look, I'll take some pictures later when I figure out the share and how to take screenshots with it
