More news of next gen consoles not being quite next gen with watch dogs to be at 30 fps on next gen. At least it looks like PS4 is showing to be a tad more superior as the specs indicate.

For the people complaining about Microsoft's excessive attention to things unrelated to gaming, how do you feel about the PS4 not playing MP3's or lack of basic DLNA streaming?

Personally, it makes no sense to take out (the few) good features that the PS3 always had. Maybe not a HUGE deal or deal breaker, but IMO it just reminds me too much of the disappointment that was the PS3 launch. It shouldn't be too much to ask to be able to play music from my PC on my gaming console, WHILE I'm playing a game w/o having to jumble through a monstrosity of a GUI.

Also mixed feelings about gameplay comparisons from what I've seen. BF4 plays at a higher resolution than the XBone with same FPS (nice), however screenshot comparisons of both CoD and BF4 both show the XBone as looking noticeably better (not nice). Maybe not night and day better, but just further confirms IMO that performance difference between the two will be essentially moot with multi-platform games.

Also no Titanfall pretty much sold me not on switching to XBone, but to just hold off on next gen for awhile.

The MP3 thing sucks for me, I played a lot of games on the 360 with my own soundtrack replacing the game's. (I had it streaming from my computer, but still)

The biggest issue for my with PS4 is no launch suspend games. IMO it is the biggest "next gen" thing, and Xbone has it while PS4 won't (at launch).

i have never used an mp3 on any console so that does not bother me and i may be the only one who does not really care about titanfall though if i did i would buy on the pc anyway. being said however i will not be getting the ps4 at launch now anymore anyway. i kept going back and forth on if i should or should not get it at launch since everything i wanted to play was coming out on ps3 or pc, neither console has a single launch title that excites me. anyway after going back and forth my wife came home one day and told me she cancelled it and made my mind up for me lol. the fact that i was not pissed off showed me it was the right choice so i am guessing this time next year i will join the next gen crowd as i assume by then they will have something i really want

I'm in a similar boat, but my reasons remain the same. I'd go nuts not being able to play Live 14 or Next Gen 2K14, and I'd be losing out on PS+ free games while I wait to buy the console for probably the same price later down the road.

this was the main reason i thought about keeping the preorder and buying it day one. in the end though i went with spending the 400 on christmas for the kids

Gamestops are selling 2K14 right now actually. I think I said it in the Live 14 thread, but I'm going 2K14 on launch and Live 14. If I can get my hands on the Live disc early, yay, if not, going digital with that 9GB download.

I got Battlefield 4 and COD Ghosts for free on PS3, so I'd probably go get the Ghosts and Battlefield upgrade as well as Killzone Shadow Fall and NBA Live.

Gamestop is supposedly holding my PS4 version of 2k14 right now, hopefully grab that today and then call Wallyworld to figure out if they are doing Midnight launch or 7am or 10am on Friday to get the system.
