Thanks for this, Jao! I have one question though. Is it normal that all icons are working perfectly fine on offense but not on defense? This is what I'm talking about:

Offense:

During offense, icon passes are working perfectly fine. If I press circle, Lin passes the ball directly to James Harden.

Defense:

During defense, not only did Harden have a wrong icon on top of him, but even if I press triangle for him to be my controlled player, I am switching to Omer Asik instead.

Is there a solution for this? It seems that circle and triangle are the only ones having that issue on defense. All else works perfectly fine both on offense and defense. Any help is greatly appreciated!

after I did the video I noticed this issue and I thought I updated the files. are you using the default files or did you use the dds files I provided to import? Either way, take the english one and reverse the O and triangle buttons to fix it.

JaoSming, I used the files you provided to import. I did edit them a little(the trigger buttons.) I have switched O and triangle buttons from the english.dds file and imported them to english.iff file but the problem stays the same and now even on offense. Am I doing it correctly?

then try swapping the other one? I don't know which is which, and I could have sworn I included the correct files after the video because I made sure to delete the wrong ones.

can you guys upload the correct file, im having trouble fixing the triangle and circle problem on defense... i really appreciate it.. thank you so much..

the iff files I uploaded are good, the dds files are not. You can export the textures from those iff files if you need them in a different file.

use the iff files, not the dds files

if you want to import into your own file, export the textures from the iff files and import them into your custom files.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I dropped the files in my NBA 2k14 folder, and they don't show up in game. Thoughts?

You still need to do what Jao has told you to. You have to open up Mod Tool, import, etc.

How do I replace the xbox 360 icons? I'm using a dual shock 3 and the drivers make so that the ds3 is recognized as an xbox360 controller.
