SLAM HARDER-
Affectionately refered to as "Spam harder" by David,

Actually it was Stevan who was first came up with this nickname.

this guy is more well known for his mix-tapes than his ability as a poster.

I think I'm most known for my nbalive patches, which is great since this is a nbalive forum (last time I checked). I've also helped several people with some nbalive issues, as well done cyberfaces for several member that I don't even known. I've also done cyberfaces for Andrew's upcoming 95/96 roster. If all that weren't enought I also I made a rosterpatch (with updates) for NBA live 2003 with great tweakings which made he game much more realistic.

I've made good contributions to the NLSC wether you like it or not and I think I earn some more respect from you.

Yeah well you've done yourself no favours there.

I dont download patches, I've said it a billion times before, I dont even look at the patching section because apart from the actual cyberfaces or whatever, it's needless spam.

So basically, I dont know anything about the patchers, and I'm sure in that area you've done some good work, so as a patcher you have my respect. That scouting report (and btw its a fucking joke people, i mean seriously), is only a reflection of General/NBA Talk basically, because I dont really venture out of that anymore. If it means that much to you, write your own scouting report about yourself...

Since you're moving to Adelaide, I guess you'll be revealing the rest of the gory details about the most extreme forum punishments. I can't be bothered driving that far, especially not at the current price of petrol in NSW.

anyways, i'm gonna post something here bout NBA Live. Might as well make this whole thread somewhat SPAM free.

Have you played NBA Live from 2000 versions through to 2004. What's one thing that you notice? One thing i notice for sure is that none of the games are perfect. Why? Let's think about that. If say, 2005 was perfect (not PERFECT but w/o major bugs) then i probably wouldn't buy 2006, 2007 and even 2008. Why replace something that's 'perfect'. If I think this way, then there are other people that think this way and thus EA will not make the perfect game.

Each year they release an upgraded version, something to appease our minds but nothing that's close to the elusive perfect game. 2000 had Franchise mode, 2001, um that was a downgrade, 2003 had fast breaks and 2004 has sliders. If combined all the aspects of each game we would have the game that we all wanted.

The PSX1 versions of Live should be how the game should be modelled. I believe that the best gameplay was on the PSX1. 2002 had perfect gamespeed, blocks were correct, substitutions were good, mid range jumpers. All it lacked was freestyle game, fouls and fastbreaks. PC03 had too much fast breaks, PC04 had sliders, howevere EA introduced that new 'bump' that players do which eliminates freestyle play, and the blocks across 03 & 04 are shocking, as well as the rebounding.

So if we combine all the positives and take out all the negatives from each year we get THE PERFECT GAME (gameplay wise). We'd have.....
fastbreaks, realistic blocks, good rebounding, etc....all the good shit....but, it will never happen.....sometimes i wanna play PS1 02 again :(

P.S i passed all my Units at Uni, i thought i'd fail 2

Madden is perfect for 3 years in a row. But each year you want to buy it again cause they add something on that perfect game.

Madden is far from perfect. ESPN football is a better simulation. Madden has a better franchise mode tho...

as for nba live, Watt, its interesting what you said.. combine the nba lives.. i wouldnt take anything from 2001 tho..

i just want that one good game of Live with no major bugs...i forgot to mention the ball physics in 04. It's absolutely terrible. Has anybody taken a shot from the baseline and instead hit the backboard. This should be a 4 point play cos it's a skill, i don't know anybody that can hit the backboard, and not even touch the ring when taking a baseline J inline with the backboard.

Also, most jump shots fall short, which is stupid, realistically jumpers tend to go long rather than short. On baseline shots, w/o any research, I think we all know that the ball goes to the opposite side of the shooter most of the time rather than rebounding towards the player.

Most baskets are swishes, or they bounce around the ring, and look like they are going to rim out but instead go in. Live 02 on PS1 had flawless ball physics.

You know, the mixtape guy. The guy who made a mixtape, which was pretty funny. Then ruined the joke by making 3 more. They got old faster than a peach drying in the sun!
