Game 5
Dallas Mavericks (2:5) @ Milwaukee Bucks (4:1)
DAL vs. MIL
111 - 116Bucks and Sanders - surprise of the first week
The Milwaukee Bucks came out as one of the most stunning teams in the early season. Defeating the 2011 NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks going for a 4:1 record with four straight wins.
Larry Sanders is playing beyond his usual capabilities, Sanders scored at least 20 points in the first five games of the season with an average of 10.6 boards a game. How long can he keep up this pace? Despite Sanders already improved throughout the last season it is questionable if he can pull up those numbers over a period of 82 games.
For the Mavericks it was only Harris and Ellis who provided some scoring power. Dirk Nowitzki was more or less a huge disappointment this evening. While Ellis and Harris combined for almost 70 , Dirk was held to only 4 points. After missing the playoffs in 2013, the Mavericks are again in trouble starting the season with a 2-5 record.
The next week is going to be a tochstone for the Bucks, as they face four teams in six days. Including three of the best teams, the Heat, the Pacers and the Thunder.
Sanders earns the player of the week honors
Brandon Knight scored 24 points combined with 9 assists
Monta Ellis sinked 34 points in his return to the Bradley Center
Nowitzki struggling

Damian Lillard went on a crazy scoring run as the Trailblazers blew out the Bucks at Bradley Center. Lillard scored 28 of his 38 points in the first half dismantling the Bucks defense by ease.
While the Bucks struggeled with their shot selection, the Blazers benefited from the huge amounts of turnovers on Milwaukees side.

Coming from a tough loss at Bradley Center against the Washington Wizards, the Milwaukee Bucks stroke back against the Bobcats. Especially in the second half the Bucks unleashed, scoring 70 points to outscore the Bobcats by 13.
Larry Sanders who plays an All Star season so far contributed 22 points and 12 rebounds another double-double for him. Brandon Knight and O.J. Mayo once again shot the light out from deep combined for 47 points.
For the Bobcats it was Ben Gordon who tried to keep his team alive, he was supported by the young core of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Kemba Walker.
Larry Sanders booked his 10th double-double for this season
offseason acquisition Al Jefferson remained lackluster in this one
