lol someone is having a shitfest about Forza vs GT.

It doesn't make sense that Kaz would allow standard cars on his game, given how much of a perfectionist he seems to be.

Maybe part of the licensing deal with the car manufacturers.
"Must have this x amount of our cars to showcase in your game."

no I wasn't a part of that thread I don't think, but im chill bro , i said that seriously and playfully at the same time.... I honestly don't remember the last time I've seen a GT or Forza thread that hasn't turned into some sort of troll fest with both Forza fans and GT fans going back and forth....
just personally would like to hear GT related conversation in a GT thread, but hey it's a free country right

The demo wasn't bad, but I'm a sucker for Gran Turismo. Doesn't feel like much of an improvement though, being perfectly honest.

I am the same way. I love Gran Turismo but it didn't seem like much of an improvement. I think this is something they had to do before working on a PS4 version of the game or else people would complain that the already long periods of time in between games have gotten longer

I might get this one but the realism might turn me off. Like Jao, I'm a sucker for casual racing games and I think you need to have that wheel controller thingy to really play this game.

Released worldwide on December 6th, 2013 on PS3.

The designer’s creations will be “gifted” as downloadable content in Gran Turismo 6 from 2013 to 2014.

Basically those companies will be designing fantasy cars and they will be created in the game and added as DLC.

Apparently the course maker will give you 2,500km sq. to work with (50km x 50km)

If it's more in-depth than the version on GT5 then it should be pretty cool to make enormous custom tracks and play online.

THat and Red Rock and tahiti maze were some of my favorites that i missed in GT3. and Seattle circuit. I spent a lot of time playing GT2.

i see no reason for any other racing game now that i have gta online. all i really seem to do is race people. bust their ass too. got 3 of these world record things so far

'Gran Turismo 6' Allows Users to Create Own Tracks by Driving Them in Real Life
Part of the 'Course Maker' mode in Gran Turismo 6 involves a GPS mobile app that lets you, the player, drive a course in real life and upload said course to the game itself. Yes, you read that correctly.

From gran-turismo.com, "... we will add the possiblity to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated track will be available in the game as playable content."

^ That should be pretty cool. There are some really fun mountain roads near me that would be awesome to drive on GT6.




I look forward to driving this and taking several hours to complete a single lap of any given track.
