Just when I think this show couldn't get any better, an episode like the last one happens. Some of the greatest, most intense television I've ever seen.
One of the betting companies here is actually running a market one who's going to die first
EDIT: I mean, in Australia, since "here" is actually California now.

Holy shit, what an episode. Not sure how Walt could have become a worse human being here (except for the begging for Hank's life part), but it seems pretty fitting, and I'm sure in the last 2 episodes he might somehow redeem himself at least a little bit and make it up to his family...Or he might become even more despicable, how the fuck knows.
Some of the most jaw-dropping moments I've ever seen on TV.

I disagree, he still cares a lot about his family, even though everybody hates him now. He accepted his fate and called off the hit so Hank wouldn't get hurt. When that didn't work he tried to give up all his money to save Hank.
When he talked with Skyler on the phone he made it sound like she didn't work with him at all, so the police would shift their attention completely on him and make her look as clean as possible.
He still cares. But they are all so involved.
But what a fucked up episode.

Oh I'm not saying otherwise at all, but I just meant that
between letting the neo-nazi guys find Jesse, telling him that he let Jane die, and snatching the baby like that, there was a line that was previously blurred that he completely crossed this time. But yeah, obviously he knew that the police was listening when he called Skyler, so I completely get why he would try to sound like such a psycho so that there's no suspicion on her. Which is also why he left the baby at the fire station at the end, of course he still wants what's best for his family.

THIS is how you end a show. Breaking Bad writers should have given Dexter writers a crash course in ending a series ffs.

Communicating with monkeys can be difficult though.

We manage with all my fellow Heat fans, can't be too challenging.

It may not stay that way, but the last episode is certainly great.

so I realized how fucked up I am, actually finding humor in Walt lying on the ground in agony after Hank gets shot. His face was too funny. Also, I was rooting for him to kidnap the baby, which he did. and FINALLY he told off Skyler. All of my frustrations with that character were voiced in that one scene, I am pretty satisfied now

he told off skylar to save her. he knew the cops were listening

Except that he did not actually mean what he said.
EDIT: This is in response to Qballer.

hmm i didn't pick up on that but i dono't care if he meant it or not.... it was still a pretty awesome scene

You did notice he was crying while doing that over-the-top angry voice though?
Thu Sep 19, 2013 11:26 am
And that he left the child in the firetruck and contacted Saul's man who gives people a new start (identity).
Thu Sep 19, 2013 6:40 pm
and lets not forget that he broke the phone right away after ending the call

Q was thinking about Jamie & Masuka's Daughter having fun times while Marie OCD'ed in the corner with a purple night gown.

And we're down to the last episode. Can't wait!

Totally saw it coming with Lydia's Stevia

I'm happy with the Finale. Straight forward, very pure like they said.
Although it was almost a little too perfect. No deaths out of left field, the gun for the Nazis, the ricin for Lydia. That was like the first time something predictable happened.
But that's why we had 5x14
And it feels like the final resolution between Jesse and Walt was done to please the viewer. Expected Jesse to pull the trigger.
Still. Greatest show I've watched.

Was the best finale a show has had in a long, long time. Especially with watching Dexter & The Sopranos fuck theirs up completely and The Shield sort of just leaving you wanting more...
Second best show of all time status indeed, great run by them and awesome awesome lead by Cranston.
