11 hours day 1, yep, I'm done. 25% complete according to the save, no non-Stranges & Freaks missions available, I just gotta do the special stuff to start the next heist(s) to continue on.

Robbed a random armored truck, shoot the back or blow it up and let the fun begin. I got $5k from mine. But goddamn, there is just soooo much going on at once...I'm glad I reached a happy "stopping point" for myself, but man o man. Tried the stock market stuff with the assistance of a mission starting and the not-so-subtle hint of which company to put money into I make a good $150k with one of the characters.

To be honest, in terms of balance, I still haven't had money issues since the first heist, and I went with all the high cut people even with the investing and pimping cars. Still haven't tried purchasing properties or anything yet.

This game though, game of the generation, and game of next year depending on PC/PS4 releases.
Opinions are my own.

my god i payed 3 hours or so tonight and i spent a lot of it at the shooting range playing with all the guns. plus at the strip club making it rain and getting my swerve on with my favorite dancer Sapphire! and then i did some story and randomly drove to the Santa Monica Pier and rode the rides there. Oh and took a hit out of a bong.

Is it just me or does one of the characters sound like Jonah Hill??

is it just me or does the car physics seem disappointing? I mean the lack of suspension and weight of the cars.

It's a bit hard to drive, biker mission, try to turn right into the alley he'll usually drive in, and you slam into the wall. Then you try to reverse but you've already lost precious time trying to back up and drive back in, the camera angle is out of sync, you can't see where you're going in front of you...then you fail. This is why I said I just drove through the pedestrian shortcut, ramming down random people. :D

I wouldn't have this much trouble on a PC. The controls are still something I'm getting used to, and I'll have to change the crosshairs, because that little white dot is pretty hard to see.

I've been playing at a really slow pace compared to everyone else...my frustration with the controls dampens my enthusiasm for the game. Sure, it's a great game, and the graphics are amazing. The map is HUGE. But I'm having trouble with the controls on a 360. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

At first I was like, yeah they gave us way too much money way to early. Then I looked at all the stuff you can buy. Cars, boats, planes, tanks .. I saw that one movie theater property that is $150 MILLION.
It doesn't look like they care much that you're pretty much able to pimp your rides and buy every single clothing item in the game after the first heist, since they want you to give a chance to buy all those ridiculous things.

I remembered to use both socks when turning sharp corners so you can see where you are going. It's difficult at first, but can keep you from having head on collisions.

Yall sounds like pros now. I still haven't been able to play since 30 min prologue and I should go to bed soon lol so I again won't be playing today. Got invitation for EA playtest tomorrow too. Piling up on unopened EA games. LoL

Hope I can catch up to you guys b4 we meet up online so I won't be a deadweight on our trollfest around the city. And you guys can drive, I suck at it and prolly gonna keep sucking much at it given how I failed so hard in the first mission.

Btw, any of ya want Mass Effect Trilogy for PS3? Never played but I borrowed it to a buddy for a month and got it back today. It's pretty much brand new with no code used. I will ship it to you as long as shipping cost doesn't kill my wallet. It's because I accidently got 2 copies from EA. But in return, be nice enough to gift me with some random Steam game whenever, lol.

Since you will be a noob, I won't kill you For at least a little bit.

I might take it, but I heard the 3rd game was crap.

buy/sell stocks, which like I said, if you recognize a company target and a competitor in a mission, you can dump your money based on you passing the mission into the competition and make coinage.

later on, you can buy cars/helis and properties? I think,

then there is the continuation of the story in the LifeInvader thingy, and other funny shit

Read about GTA V that you can...
find an alien corpse during the first mission near some ice and/or river, as well as find big foot in two different wooded areas, and sea monsters in the water
My initial reaction was 'WTF' followed almost immediately by wanting to do it.
