I have a msi laptop with a 540m gpu, but I am looking for an upgrade. My MSI could run 2k13 but there's an occasional lag here and there, that i can not deal with anymore . I need a laptop that could run this game on max settings with no lag and no stuttering. Could anyone help my max price is 850 and i'm willing to look into refurbished laptops.

ive decided to save a bit more money up because i've heard that the y500 has a micro stutter problem. should i buy the asus rog g750jw. will this run 2k14 on high with enb eventhough the graphics card is weaker than the 750m sli?

570M is much more what 2k14 will need.

bro, remember not always something with higher number means better. Im little off right now with my knowledge about hardware for laptops, but for example 570M is more powerfull than 660M. U can choose cheaper msi with 570M on board and by changing bios on graph card u will reach 670M performance. But like i said i dont know what is 765, you must read some forums bro, not ask here

To my experience the CPU matters more than the graphics card for NBA 2K, on PC anyway.

When you buy a gaming laptop you pay a premium price for lower power.
