True..but atleast we'll get 3D crowds in the dunk competition.

I can't wait to patch this baby..imagine creating the dunk competition of 1987 with Young Jordan w/ chain (who i will create) vs. Dominque wilkins! w00t!

Awsome news. I was grinning like an idiot while reading the article. I still am... :)
Seems like EA is going all out for this one.

I realy like the news. Not only for the Slam Dunk contest that I don't realy have to high expectations for, but for the R-vs-S game that I expect to be great. I've hoped for that for the last 2 years. The 3'pt contest is a great thing also. What I am affraid of is that the dunks will be to exaduraded. (Looking like a mix between ESPN and NBA Jam) witch would suck.
Let's hope for being able to save replays though. (Y)

Graphics looks very very nice so far. A little sharp maybe, but whatever.
As bchogan said; In that picture LeBrons shorts are waived out on the
bottom. Very nice news.
(Didn't you, Yohance, ponder about that like 2 months ago. Players sweating also, witch it sort off looks like. Sort off)

Take a look at this screen. Look at the animation, how he is in the air... beautifull...

20.000 dunks!?!?!?!!!  .
Does that mean we can have 20 000 styles of dunks during regular
games?

Good Job EA, once again, you have failed to address the main issues of NBA Live which is the retarded AI.....how about we just change the name of the game from NBA Live 2005 to Dunk Contest 2005. It sounds fun but this game is suppose to be a simulation of basketball, not NBA Street (though i would love it so much if they brought that to the pc).

The dunks will probably be a little exagerated. They said there are dunks that you can do, that you can't do it real life, but it will take a lot of practice.

I really hope you can save replays in the dunk contest. I'd hate to lose the dunks I create.

I'll "shart" if they add this to the dynasty mode--I'll "shit" if they add this and make dynasty multiplayer. Either way, I might need to buy new underwear.

Postby Donatello on Fri Jul 16, 2004 1:39 am

well...i would say of course they'll add it to dynasty mode. why wouldn't they? does anybody actually just play season mode? i never have, not once.

oh, yeah. i as well will be needing some new underwear.

and i hope to god you can't do all those dunks in the actual game. that would piss me off. if you can--there had better be a 'dunk' slider or something, or just have the fancy dunks in arcade mode, not simulation

is it becoming more obvious that lebron is going to be on the cover? i think so.

Man, this guy acts as if he wrote the article or something...

Umm... thanks for the link? Woohoo.

Anyway, definately good news, but I have a hunch people will get bored of it in a week and complain how it sucks... the masses can never be pleased.

Oh... and BCHogan... release that player model update will you? ;)

These are some really good news! I wasn't expecting that at all because I wasn't expecting the unexpected. I use to just sim up the All Star weekend but now but I might have to think about it twice before I do that. I'm expecting more renovations to be included in the Franchise mode.

Thanks.
