I think it's unfair to call people lazy before you have actually played the game. Please remember, that we don't have a list of the new features included in 2k14, so we don't know what's in store for us.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but will it be possible to play 13 guys in a match in 2k14, just like real NBA?

I couldn't see big changes... it reminds me NBA 2K13.

I think what should 2K Sports improve is the presentations.

Yes that's true but from all I heard, porting to pc doesn't require that much time or money. At least nothing near as much as the original costs for producing a new nba 2K game, so my guess would be that the benefits would overweigh the costs by far. Even though many pirated version circulate the web, that's true, but still, there are a lot of folks wanting to buy the official version.
And why does somebody say: "half the game, for half the price"? Does half the game mean less online functions and no crew mode, or is there actual gameplay or presentation that is missing in the pc version, compared to the consoles?

I tend to use that phrase more than I should, but I am referring to missing gamemodes (MyTEAM, MyCLOSET, DLC, VC), and the missing uniform files when I use it. Gameplay and presentation is identical.

It still requires money and resources to make it happen. Unfortunately, PC basketball gamers are very much in the minority compared to those playing on consoles, so we're not a priority and don't have as loud a voice. I'm sure the developers themselves would like to deliver the goods to PC gamers, but when the cost and logistics are being considered, they're not the ones making that call.

Personally , I think that better way is just wait for 2K15. Nothing new here... I'm really disappointed ...AGAIN. This will be almost the same game with new box. 2K will earn easy money as always (at least couple past years). I agree with @skoadam in a whole thing.

If NBA 2K15 comes out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 - and the PC gets a port of that version - then it's going to be the same story. Any significant innovation will be restricted to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

In my opinion in 2k15 we get 2k14 from consoles without additions from 2k15 for consoles. Maybe in 2k16 they will release equal versions.

I dont think there will be ever a "same version" games for PC and Consoles since it doesnt make sense to them to waste their time making a good game for pc just to have 80% of the players just downloading from the internet instead of actually buying it.

Dont be so pesimistic, new xbox and ps4 must earn some money, then we will get next gen, dont worry  (Y)
I just hope they will equal quality of products so quick like EA did in Fifa. 2010 current for pc, 2010 next gen on consoles, 2011 next gen on pc but looks like 2010 consoles- but still next gen. This will be enough success.
So i just hope 2k15 we will get 2k14 gen on pc's. But hey everything can change in one day so we cant even dont get 2k15 on pc, who knows.
Another thing is that for me graphical engines are not most important, im just old guy, i dont get excited when i see real sweat on skin, or detailed hair moving on wind. The most important thing is quality of AI, especially in this kind of games, this causes less or more issues in gameplay.

I imagine skoadam as a PS2 owner buying FIFA games every year. He probably would have killed himself by the time FIFA 14 for PS2 hit the stores. C'mon man, it's the same thing - next-gen has arrived and it means almost no attention to current-gen games. I can't understand your frustration, because I honestly expected much less from a current-gen version, but they really suprised by revamping the blocking system, adding Euroleague teams, the Prostick controls, updated player skills, etc. It was enough to change my opinion from "going to skip this year" to "I'm getting it.

I don't think you can compare football (soccer) games with basketball games. Everyone knows that football is wayyyyy more popular worldwide so the sales are also much higher :) And there is much of a piracy on consoles as well (not as big as on pc, obviously but still). I don't think we'll be getting NBA 2k15 on PC current or next gen. It just looks that way seeing how things been going with a PC version and I think it's OK.

Did you play the game yet? Have you seen the game in full 1080P, Have you seen the addons? The answer to those questions are No. So how can you say the game haven't changed?

Graphics has been improved slightly better light quality and higher res textures. Body model for Lebron is a little slimmer. They basically changed the color scheme back to 2k12 and removed all the crappy swirls and stereos. What does that mean for us. Easier way to make Full TNT and ESPN Presentations. They changed the lineup presentation also. What do people want for current gen systems. Anyway no one on pc will be using default global anyway you guys change it every year. Rumor for PC Version is that we are getting a mix of next and current gen. Dont know how much of next gen we are getting but we may be getting something from that port.

:| , I base my simple opinion on this 9min of " NBA2k14" and the first impact is the graphic, except the logo I see no change....same parquet updated to 2012...same backboard...same all...same scoreboard....same interface. I doubt that 2ksport do not have change a single graphic element on this game.

so I think ( and there is no official 2k video...because this is a private video) that this video is another of multiple video of a fake 2k14 whit the logo changed ( I don't remember the iff file at the moment)
and if you take a look on the youtube channel the same author think that is a nba2k13 video
or maybe 2k decided to no change graphic element in PC game because do not have the Nextgen...and think it's time wasted for pc version

There are other aspects to a video game than graphics. Although, if you have not played a minute of 2K13 then maybe 2K14 just isn't for you.

I see the graphics being the same as a huuuge benefit for PC under two conditions, iff files from 2K13 work directly in 2K14, and player textures are full 512x512 and do not use the 256x256 mipmap. Then we get the gameplay benefits, something we as a community cannot change like 2K can, and we can start off 2K14 with all the create mods and updates from 2K13 instead of needing to reimport and convert, or worse off start from scratch.
Opinions are my own.

yes, you're right Jao but you know...I'm in the graphic part and the first look into a game I think is always the graphic aspect...the first impression is always the one.
( I never play a minute in sense to....I never enter well to the game system for reasons that I have already explain  )

after my first comment I see other videos, and there is little change on graphic interface

look at this nba2k14: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeadxWkN3KM
and nba2k13: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSHDAjGGhDg

it's different, no more yellow frills new orleans style in the logos and game interface...much better

NBA 2K14 Current Gen will be this same game with Euro League and minor stuff updated. Even Scoreboard is the same lol.
