Can't think of anything but Crew, be it a 3 vs 3 gameplay.

It seems highly likely at this point that it is referring to Crew mode and that the folks who deduced that were correct. If so, I'm sure 2K won't be too thrilled about the campaign being spoiled, but the positive reaction to the reintroduction of Crew probably offsets that.

I wanna say that his is crew but I think that 2K would have some reasons again why they are not / they didn't include crew... In my PS3 MyTeam I've come to 2nd seed only 3 games away to get to the 1st seed AND BACK TO BACK I got the same guy who bugged the crap out of the game. We got into the game, and then the game would countdown from 15-0 for him to reconnect and then after that it would say that he has left the game .......aaaaaaaaaand of course I lost BOTH games...

I don't think it would be that complicated, but that is interesting. You read the one that said 3rd letter of the alphabet is c, then r, 3 backwards is e, 3 turned sideways is a w, 5 is an s for crews? Interesting, but people are trying too hard.

I still don't get how that code becomes crew.

The theory you mentioned previously does make sense, but I guess it's a case where it makes sense in hindsight and is easy to spot once you're looking for it.
