Not surprised with path to greatness being about Lebron

I'm not excited about Crew myself, given that I rarely play online and I'll probably be mostly playing the game on PC anyway, but it's obviously popular and people have wanted it back, so good move. Even if the Guitar Hero concept for the dunk contest is a bit disappointing, I'm glad to hear that it won't be DLC this year. I'll at least give it a try and it's something to break up a season in Association and MyCAREER.

Sounds like Path to Greatness is going to be similar to NBA 2K11's MJ: Creating a Legend, perhaps with elements of the Jordan Challenge from the same game or even a little of what EA was looking to do with Become Legendary in NBA Elite 11. Hopefully it doesn't replace the generic Creating a Legend mode they've had since then, as an alternative to MyCAREER.

This means rookie LeBron, then some classic teams from between 2003-2013.

Can't we just patch over the Lebron mode if we want. Especially those using Generic Mod Enabler.
Lebron's CF replaced by MY CF
Heat (and or cavs Jersey) replaced by Jersey of my choosing
Possibly turn off commentary because it will all say Lebron this and Lebron that
and then record the presentation aspects with my player in place of Lebron for an epic youtube mix
Because you know this mode will have exclusive presentation aspects to it

I just really think Crew mode is not as fun if u can't customize Uniforms, Arenas , and some other team stuffs. even a good face maker, they can't afford.. plus u can have legends which is kind of cool but it's not challenging when u have such greats players..

Quite possibly. I mean, we could at least give it a shot. There'll probably be some LeBron-specific elements that we can't change or really work around, but I guess we'll see.
