WNBA 2K (Special Roster Now Available)

Seriously guys, I made this open source for a reason I would love to see
"R4zor's WNBA roster, Retroman's WNBA retro roster, Ballaboi's WNBA Allstar, etc"
with your own custom ratings and cf's. Don't leave it all up to me to decide
whose CF's to overwrite or implement. I would love to use them all

Is anyone going to create 2d Models for this. Kinda messed up playing with man bodies

2D models? like paper Mario type lol. If you mean 3d models or lo res models I will leave that up to individuals.
I am content using the models provided by 2k. Although I have experimented with the player body models found
in the global file:




I prefer not to try and create breast and other things. I don't feel the time spent on this would greatly increase
my appreciation of the mod.

I'm about to jump to R4zor defense, because first off...he's a close friend and I mean close friend....

He's a youngster but a very good person and extremely talented.

I have some of the most talented friends period who are patchers on NLSC, Moddingway, NBA2k.com, etc...

Now TsSoGood ask for people to help with the project, so I asked as a personal favor for R4zor and JMaster12 to create these girls for the game, JM is even working on 3D bodies to make them look like women and we can create a custom global.

r4zor was one of my key request, because he's a perfectionist and has an eye and effort for details. He's also figured out many tools and patching ways that made it easier to get more accurate courts, faces, jerseys and more.

I think in all respects, for a guy who doesn't and haven't seen one WNBA game in his country, he is taking real images and creating accurate faces with exact nose, eyes, hair and more. He's not perfect at headshapes but he does a great job trying. I think instead of trying to compete and complain. We have to admit his faces are 100x better than anything else near generic. Why not just create headshapes for players and let him do the textures and faces and match them up.

This way the mod will keep moving forward with accuracy...I might even get some of the guys that helped with the College mods to create accurate stadiums and dornas, since the WNBA has less teams, it can get done faster....And hopefully some accurate team files.

So let's stop the bickering and work as a team to make a project that is small, yet big become bigger than ever and the WNBA can finally get some love in the gaming market.

I have connections with a few players that will send me nice images to map them in the game too, so I'll stay tuned on that...

OK guys since I messed up the last release (it was still the AUG 6th rosters). I have a special Release and Face Pack coming at 11:45am.

Since WNBA has less than 15 per roster (real WNBA limit is officially 11 per roster) when they release players I don't include that in the
roster because most teams in the roster have 12 and less than 12 causes issues with rotation minutes

Not sure what your thoughts are on this idea...but since the WNBA hasn't been around as long...what do you think about creating a couple all-time retired WNBA players and either putting them on the now-defunct teams or stashing them away on the non-active / injured player spots for the teams that are still current. It would be kinda cool to have them on there, and since there isn't a ton probably wouldn't make sense for trying to create retro rosters from over the years.
Comets could have cynthia cooper, swoopes, Sparks could have Lisa leslie, tamecka dixon, Sacramento Yolanda Griffith, Ruthie bolton-holiefield, New York teresa weatherspoon, Lobo, Charlotte dawn staley, andrea stinson, Washington chamique holdsclaw, nikki mccray..7'-2" margo dydek, and natalie williams could go maybe on Utah, nykesha sales could go Orlando or Conn, jennifer azzi detroit or utah. There's actually probably a lot more players and teams that I can't think of off top of my head. Just throwing out as an idea.

I like your way of thinking actually if you load up this roster in Red MC or Leftos's roster editor you will find that I have already began work on Sheryl Swoopes and Cheryl Miller two of
the greatest women's basketball players ever. I had previously scrapped work on a Cheryl Miller CF but may revive it yet again.

Damn it I forgot to send you my CF...I just got my PC back up and running two days ago.

This mod is still looking great!
