the way kg came to town is much different than a ring chaser. same with ray. now everyone that joined after those two.....well those guys were all clearly chasing rings but in no way could i say kg was a ring chaser with how he came to boston. as for the leaving? well i am positive boston wanted to trade them more than they wanted to be traded. like you said, the celtics are in tank mode this year so them being there does nothing at all outside of a few jersey sales and them fighting for the 8th/7th seed.

well you should have. i was saying the kg situation was nothing like lebron or howard. even when the celtics got kg and allen everyone said they were not gonne win. i mean all you heard on every single site was "worthless point guard and center, no bench". it took the celtics trading away everything of worth (no one considered rondo a asset. they said they would need to win in spite of him). they fully gutted the team. lebron/wade/bosh all came up with the plan to make less to play together. howard told the world he was leaving so the magic had no bargaining power. the situations were way different.

Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett were traded to the Celtics. Just a heads up to the argument that KG 'left' the Wolves.
For Ray Allen it was the 5th pick in the 2007 draft (Jeff Green) and for KG it was Al Jefferson, both separate trades with fillers (players) to match salaries.

situation means everything. kg did not push to go to boston so how the fuck could he be considered a ring chaser? the celtics tried to get him and he said no. after they got allen he agreed to waive the no trade. everyone after the kg trade was a ring chaser but in no way was garnett or allen a ring chaser for going to boston. also like i said before people did not think they were good enough to win. if not for rondo really stepping up and perkins not being nearly as bad as people thought he was this team might not of even made the finals.

As for LBJ, I couldn't careless anymore. He's labelled a d-bag, and is probably one. He's handled media horribly. For that he deserves criticism. The real reason people should be hating him is something like him swinging his arms around players after getting fouled like he did against Duncan in game 7.

Look at the bigger picture. Bottomline is that team can dump players, but so can the players. Keep players in check if you intend to keep them. Simple, it's a mangement's job to do so.
