He's been allowed to pick songs for the soundtrack this year. There are apparently room for a few more, so he's taking suggestions.

Well, we do have the Audio Editor now. If the file format doesn't change for NBA 2K14 PC, we're good to go. Everyone else can just turn off the music and turn on their music device of choice.

I know not everyone love rock/metal genre but it'ld be nice if they put some rock/metal songs...

As a Metalhead I prefer r&b stuff with basketball to but some hardcore and punk songs goes with basketball also I think... My only hope's better musics then 2k13...

Maybe he throws in some imagine dragons in there. Hopefully that offsets the lil wayne garbage a little.

He's also been saying "I aint got no worries" every 2 minutes since he won the chip.

I'll bet "No Worries" is part of the sound track.

What I'm wondering is if there will be any tracks from Jay-Z.

By all accounts, LeBron is a fan and a friend, so it wouldn't be altogether surprising.

I don't care what anyone says, most of those songs are too slow-paced compared to today. Great to listen to sure, but it doesn't flow as well as the faster-paced rap songs of the modern era.

Actually, that used to be the montage song for the Heat during LeBron's first season there. Then, you see there's "All of the Lights" by Kanye West there. That, also, used to be the Heat's song for the pregame montage during the 2011-2012 season. I believe the current song is "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes.
Could it mean pregame montages? Or maybe it'll help in the new "Path of Greatness" in the presentation department.

No complaints here, but the soundtrack seldom bothers me. It either just fades into the background or if a particular song is annoying, I'll disable it.

Yea I don't really care about the soundtrack that much. In the past there have been times where the music was really bad but now a days you can turn it off. Last couple years I started to just mute out the music completely in the game.

And of course, if the file format doesn't change, we now have an editor for the PC version with which we can make our own custom soundtracks.

I guess I finally have an excuse to listen to Blurred Lines more. Everytime I see that damn sig in this forum I gotta listen to it to get the song out of my head.
