A Heat fan taking example from another Heat fan, I'm shocked.

Don't bring your & NovU's personal life in to this.

Back on topic:

I think the Lakers will end up facing OKC instead of the Spurs, would've much rather they faced the Spurs to be honest, KD & Westbrook are too much to handle. The game against the Spurs was a fun game to watch in that regard, not much cheating and back peddling from Blake/Meeks in the backcourt on defense. Bryant/Nash would've let the SA guards have a field day against them.

Oh geez, why can't I be left alone for a nice afternoon tea.

There was a saying the Spurs tanked for that very reason.

I think not. If the Rockets lose against the Lakers tomorrow, the Rockets will move down to the 8th seed since the Lakers have the tie breaker against them. Last night's loss against the Suns pretty much earned the Rockets the 8th seed, as I really don't see them getting past the Lakers tomorrow. Either way, I'm just satisfied to see the Rockets in the playoffs again and I'm hoping they can put up a fight against whoever it is they end up facing.

Didn't had the Rockets in my personal playoff-picture when the season started, as I thought Dallas and the Wolves would be better, but I'm glad they clinched their spot. It's just well deserved. Despite having secured a playoff-spot, I don't expect them to play any kind of lackluster basketball against the Lakers tonight. In the end I think they'll be just too much for the Lakers.

Seems like we're both optimistic about the opposing team. I'm sure both teams would much rather face the Spurs than the Thunder in the playoffs, so you can bet it will be a great game.

Damn, it would be somewhat weird for me if the Spurs face the Rockets in the first round. I wonder how Rockets fans will react to T-Mac when he returns.

Harden VS OKC or T-Mac VS HOU, it's gonna be entertaining both ways :P

It's not like T-Mac played a lot of games for the Rockets with those injuries lololol. He's no Yao Ming.

Lawrence Frank is out as Pistons coach officially. That's what you get for starting GoAT only a couple of games.

Really not impressed with the Rockets' fourth quarter and overtime execution last night. The final minutes of the fourth were stagnant, James Harden dribbling for 20 seconds then someone else firing up a terrible shot. A sweep awaits them if they don't get their act together against OKC.

On a more positive note, I was really hyped when Parsons made that three to send it to overtime. (Y)

Byron Scott got fired. Cavs want Mike Brown back, who's not sure if he's ready to return to coaching.

I hope Mike Brown does come back to prove that he really did ride Lebron's coattails last time. Byron Scott wasn't given a shot

and so Boston & Indiana will both have 81 game seasons this year?

I think Brown's a good defensive coach, as for offense he's got...Mike Kruester.

understand that the Lakers have gone from sixth defensively during Phil Jackson's final year (one that saw the Busses giddy to push him toward Montana in the hours following) to 13th under the "defensive-minded" Brown to 25th this year.

wow, that was fast. but then again, everything has already been announced so there's no point in hanging on to a name he doesn't want

As I recall, Washington's transition from the Bullets to the Wizards took place fairly quickly between their elimination in the 1997 Playoffs and the 1997/1998 season. Might as well start pushing the brand now and let everyone get used to the name.
