The Los Angeles Lakers, who could not keep pace with an Oklahoma City Thunder team that was younger, flashier and ready to seize its moment in the Western Conference spotlight. Bryant rose, but Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook rose higher, leading the Thunder to a 101-94 game, a six-game victory in their conference finals series. They were defeated by the Thunder in the Playoffs for the second time in a row, not a good sign for Los Angeles. They hope to try their luck again next year.
Durant, Thunder, win NBA title Thunder defeat Knicks | 4-1
After his team's 99-86 win closed out the New York Knicks, Durant hopped up and down, shared a long hug with his worthy opponent, Carmelo Anthony, and continued to smile as he watched the confetti flow from the rafters. In the locker room not long after, no one was separating Durant from the Larry O'Brien championship trophy. Durant said he wouldn't have gotten this trophy without his team, without his teammates. He hugged his mom and ended up crying. Nothing could make Durant happier than he is now.

I think that draft pick is the one he got from the Hornets, the Lakers own pick will still be a bit later.
Some big trades there. I like the Smith one, although the next two deffo reek of David Stern. Still will be good to see how your team goes over the next season. How do you propose to get Noel and Coward to work together?
