Hey, I cant read the read me file that comes with the rookie patch, what do I do? It's all in garble. I tried copying the file into a folder in the xplayer folder, loaded it in the game and it didnt work, what do I do? Can someone get me a readme file that is readable??

if you want to play with a more realistic rookies with cyberface patch then have you just have to make all the bio and stats of the rookies. you can get it at nba.com or espn.com.

All those patches look great but Jr Smith needs a new headshape and hes also supposed to be bald. Also his eyebrows looks pretty high, your JR smith sorta looks like Antoine Walker. You might also wanna blend more on Luol Deng. And I agree, the Doreell Wright looks like George Huff.

if you'd just look in the announcements, you'll see that "noskills18" is sending a NBA Draft 2004 for Dynasty Mode !!! through email...
then, if you'd look at the general issues, you'll see R-Tistic had created a player.dbf consisting of 29 or 30 potential players for the 2004 draft...
pretty awesome huh?

or, you could also just stfu, do it yourself and not rely on others to do all the grunt work for you.

Just create them inside your game. After that, get a dbf editor and edit the players.dbf file. Set the ISCREATED to "FALSE" and then go to PLAYERPKG and change whatever is there to the rookies first 2 letters of their first name and first 5 of their last name. For example if its Emeka Okafor, you would set that field to "EMOKAFO". I hope that helps.

It will be a matter of changing the player packages and iscreated fields. Not too hard

in nbalive render folder C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2004\render
put the portait files in the folder xprtteam if the folder is not there jus
make a new folder of that name...

cant you release your db file for rookies,configuring them manually
takes hours and all i want is play not typewriting

hehehe....i agree.....cause id like to see u try makin a cyberface stalky....its fuckin hard work.....it takes alotta skill and patience....im sure if u tried makin a cyberface of kobe bryant it'll end up lookin like a fur ball .... so stfu and do it yourself....its hard enuff makin 1 cyberface but makin so many and packaging them into one...that takes alotta time..... so appreciate not complain !!!!!

good work King James i really like that patch..but just try work on Dorell Wright a bit and JR Smith...i raelly dont mind if Dwight Howard looks like Muggsy Bogues...but JR and Dorell gotta be proper...

i change all the stuff in .dbf
i see BLACK faces on players in-game

under the field ISCREATED should be false, players id and packages
for created players should match the viv files/names of players
