v1.08 delayed

Fri Jul 02, 2004 4:07 pm

I'll have to delay the next release of the roster patch a little longer, I'm afraid. I have created nearly all of the rookies (still need to find some scouting reports for a couple of the second rounders) and have been keeping up with the transactions. There is a serious issue with the state of the Forum that needs to be addressed first. I apologise for the delay, I might be able to release it late this weekend.

Im sure it will be worth the wait. Looking forward to it though :D

Royal Ivey, David Young, Vassilis Spanoulis and Sergei Karaulou. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. (Y)

Thanks rEdHoBBeS. (Y) I'm still trying to find pictures so that I can give them a halfway decent appearance when I create them.

Sun Jul 04, 2004 1:05 am

well here's some of royal.. some of these pics are kinda small, so it might be hard to see em.. also some might not be just face-shots.. so i apologize in advance for that..

Andrew is the roster donna have the rookies pics in them?

Sun Jul 04, 2004 4:52 am

I wouldn't bother with Royal Ivey. The guy was an average college player at best. How he could be drafted over his teammate Brandon Mouton is a direct example why the quality of the NBA has gone downhill.

Thanks again rEdHoBBeS. :)

It won't have any cyberface patches included. I'll just create them to look as realistic as possible (ie fairly accurate skin tone/facial features), I know there's a group of patchers compiling a list of rookie face patches.

Should definitely be sometimes this week. I've had other matters to attend to the last few days, but most of the work is out of the way.

Tue Jul 06, 2004 1:37 am

Heh, I've been checking this out like twice everyday, hoping for it to be out. :D .

Tue Jul 06, 2004 1:59 am

Are you gonna delay this roster patch again? I been checking twice a day too. LOL

yeah it's a cheap and effective way to get hits, in the mean time our soul is taking a beating. Weeee neeeedzzz it. I've been checking like 5 times a day...yeah i got holiday...
I'm aching to play the 95/96 rosterpatch even more, but Andrew hasn't set any specific time for which not to have it done by (smart move:p). Hope he doesn't read this, he might take it the wrong way
Maybe by the end of writing this post he might have posted the patch on the site....can't wait to check....hmmm wait a minute...I'm 21...Grownup and stuff...shouldn't I be doing something more important...uh nehhh

Tue Jul 06, 2004 7:34 am

Well I'm feeling guilty I haven't made any real contribution to this topic, and neither have i provided constructive criticism. So I went out and started investigating all the rookies. And what I have found is that Dwight Howard has a birth mark on his left cheek the size of an inflated flee. And Jackson's hair tends to swerve to the right.

oops...I guess that's work for the patchers of cyberfaces...please don't move the topic to patch requests

seriously though, Reddick has a great shot, should be around the 80's for 3p and FG in my opinion.
