From the evidence at hand it isnt unreasonable to conclude theyve said fuck it to everything else in life other than food.

Ignorance, environmental influences, culture, upbringing, (lack of) support, marketing, low self-esteem/depression, a weakness for sweets. Lots of factors. I'm sure they'd love to be healthy and thin, but that kind of effort requires a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. It's not easy for a lot of people to give up sweets, McDonald's, potato chips and beer because they're oh, so full of delicious high energy density appetite-inducing flavour. It's more convenient for people to watch TV instead of run on a treadmill or pick up heavy things then put them down. They could not go from average weight to obese without eating shit foods and not moving much. One picture says a lot because if you look closely, shadow-baby, they're morbidly obese.
