I'm sorry, I've never encountered that error so I'm not sure what to suggest. Try deleting the file, if that doesn't work, try re-installing your game.

I can play a exhibiting game but I can't finish my season cause the game crashes while it's loading up.
I haven't done any dbf editing at all or have I seen any error codes, so is there anyone out there having this problem?

I found a CDX File in C:\Documents and Settings\David Jr\My Documents\NBA LIVE 2004\database\profile & deleted it, but what do I do if it keeps coming back up?

well try to remove/rename NBA LIVE 2004 at my documents,then try to play a game
