A few moves are gimmicky

Like the floater. I can never ever get one to go in, using Parker. It is neither quick enough, nor high enough, to prevent from being blocked.

There are also about 5 different types of jump shots that require 15 user inputs to do that don't work or free you for anything. In other words, you can master them to "look pretty" but they're not effective at getting you an open shot.

Floaters are very effective. When i do them with Jarrett Jack or Ty Lawson from the side, they bank them in nearly every time. They have an hidden release point. Go to practice mode and try it out (holding very long, holding very short -> miss; try to figure out the release point).

That's the complete opposite for me. I run picks and with the lane open I just float it in with Jrue Holiday 8/10 times.
